About the adventure

Nestled in the silent hills of Shenmen, the village of Willowshore is holding a festival to ward evil spirits. Paper-masked 'ghosts' drag 'kidnapped victims' away into the woods as 'mourners' cry their names. As the masked victims are drug into the shadows of the legendary Specterwood, the last grain of sand holding back a torturous trap hits the bottom of the hourglass. The people of Willowshore are no strangers to supernatural threat, but the danger unleashed on the first day of summer is unlike any they've seen before and they will need your strength to survive it. Over the four seasons to come, you and your fellow home-grown heroes must face evil spirits, sinister fiends, and frightening curses, lest the town of Willowshore be drug into the woods in the Season of Ghosts!

How to prepare

You will need a microphone, a stable internet connection, and a modern web browser such as Opera, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox to connect to the game server. Also, you will need a Discord account (they're free!) to connect to the game server's discord to voice chat.

What I provide

The DM will be bringing the world to life with sweeping music, fun characters, engaging ambience, and reactive environments with full color maps.

Gameplay details

Player can expect fun and cinematic combat, sweeping cinematic music and ambience, and a little (optional!) puzzle solving here and there. Safety Tools are available for your use, but lines and veils will be established for the group's comfort before we begin play.

How will character creation work

Please check the players guide out in your preparation materials and also join the Discord server. Characters may be built prior to the first session via Pathbuilder 2E. [Level 1, Free Archetype]

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
