Lost Worlds - Starfinder Campaign | Beginner Friendly

About the adventure

Starting out as a group of unlikely acquaintances, the party soon finds themselves involved in a large scale adventure unraveling the mysteries of ancient Eox, the shattered Twins and even lost Golarion. I will take great care to include each characters background as best as possible, making this an epic space adventure that takes us into the past of the Pact Worlds. We'll start with a Session 0 to introduce the campaign and make characters together and we'll see where things go from there. If you're joining us later we'll make sure you have a character ready to jump straight into the action. Beginners are welcome. Please be somewhat familiar with Fantasy Grounds, Starfinder knowledge is not required. If you are unfamiliar; Starfinder is very similar to D&D 3.5 or Pathfinder, but in space. I can provide premade characters if you don't feel confident with building one yourself. I run on Fantasy Grounds for visuals and combat and use Discord for voice chat.

How to prepare

You'll need to set up a free Discord account as well as a free Fantasy Grounds account and install both programs before the game. If you already have an idea for you character feel free to prepare that as well.

What I provide

I will set up the whole campaign in Fantasy Grounds. Player characters, tokens, visual assets, digital maps, rulebook content and everything else.

Gameplay details

I use standard Starfinder RAW but I'm not bound by it. Every cool idea should get a chance to be played out! We'll do a Session 0 to set everything up, get familiar with Fantasy Grounds, talk about player safety and create characters. X, N, and O cards are integrated into Fantasy Grounds and are available via anonymous chat messages. Aftercare and Stars and Wishes are optional after each session.

How will character creation work

Anything released for Starfinder by Paizo is allowed in my games. We will create characters together in session 0. Hephaistos, an online tool, streamlines the process a lot but Starfinder does give a lot of player options, which can be overwhelming, especially if you don't know the system. I will bring some premade characters to test around with and make sure everyone can play a character they like.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
