About me

Hey I'm Evo. I started getting into TTRPGs in high school, consuming a bunch of content online. I convinced my friends to play with me and quickly became the forever GM. My interest in TTRPGs, game design and world-building only grew over the years. Although I have run and played a bunch of systems and read about even more, Starfinder is my clear go-to. My group and I got into that shortly after we started and play it with great enjoyment ever since. I developed expansive knowledge of the rules and setting. When the pandemic hit I turned to online options and decided on Fantasy Grounds at the time. I learned how to use it and became a part of the community surrounding the VTT. I am a faculty member of the Fantasy Grounds Academy and work with the program regularly. I do like to play from time to time as well. Curious to explore new worlds, try new systems and wacky character builds or enjoy the storytelling of other GMs. My first language is German but I am quite comfortable in spoken and written English.

GM style

I generally aim for a 40/40/20 split between tactical combat, exploration and roleplay respectively but I'm happy to lean into specific types more to suit my players. I like to run an open sandbox style of game and always love to integrate the player characters and their backstories into it. I always have a plan for my sessions prepared but I adjust quickly and am happy to improvise with anything my players throw at me. If you play Starfinder with me; I have expert knowledge of the mechanics and rules and have read a lot about the setting, which I like to add my own world-building to.
