About the adventure

🎲New to D&D? This is a great adventure to start you off!🎲 Your adventure begins in Neverwinter, the Jewel of the North, a large city in northwest Faerûn. A dwarf, Gundren Rockseeker, has sought you out, offering gold in exchange for a simple task—deliver a wagonload of supplies to a small mining village. He is somewhat vague about his reasons for the trip, letting you know only that he has discovered "something big", and he is unwilling to divulge any more. Accepting the dwarf's offer, you embark, leaving Neverwinter for the rough-and-tumble settlement of Phandalin, just two days' travel to the southeast along the High Road. Easy gold, indeed. Or so you would think. 💰Explore the Sword Coast and discover riches lost to time in this official D&D module.💰

How to prepare

Games will be run using Roll20 for battle maps and tokens, D&D Beyond for character sheets and dice rolls, and Zoom for video and voice chat. I will also use Discord to share information, links, artwork, and more! I encourage use of a webcam (I will be using one), but mic and speakers are a minimum requirement. I recommend playing on a desktop or laptop, as opposed to mobile, for the best experience. 🛡️I will enable content sharing on D&D Beyond for all players, meaning you will have access to all of my purchased content.🛡️ You will need a free Roll20 account, free D&D Beyond account, and free Discord account.

What I provide

D&D Beyond sourcebooks, including the Player's Handbook, Fizban's Treasury of Dragons, Monsters of the Multiverse, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, and Xanathar's Guide to Everything. Roll20 maps and tokens.

How will character creation work

Characters will be created on D&D Beyond. I encourage you to come up with a backstory for your character (if you want!). This campaign takes place in the Forgotten Realms setting. Characters will be created using the standard array or point buy method. You may roll for HP or use the fixed method. Player characters will begin at level 1, with standard starting equipment for their class. We will create characters and cover other information on Discord and during Session 0. You will also receive Session 0 documentation on Discord that will help you get started. Pre-generated characters are available.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
