How to prepare

A basic idea of the kind of character you wish to play is handy and will be fleshed out over Discord prior to the session. Please have a working mic and Discord account. Web-cams are optional but encouraged!

What I provide

You will likely want to use the on-screen dice roller, but I'm not opposed to you using physical dice if you wish. There will be custom tokens, high-res maps, and a fully-loaded Alchemy VTT experience with both the Core Rulebook and Mythic Britain & Ireland loaded in.

Gameplay details

A Session 0 is done prior to the game in a continuous text thread over Discord. That will be your opportunity to let me know if there are any explicit themes or scenarios that you wish to be omitted or avoided. Lines and Veils will be discussed there to ensure everyone is on the same page. Obviously, some things can be distressing without being noted in the Lines and Veils, and sometimes things are forgotten in the moment. In these cases, the in-VTT chat function will be visible, and all you need to send is an X in there to give everyone a heads-up that this is uncomfortable. If you'd rather remain anonymous to other players, you may send me an X in a Discord DM to notify me. I take personal security and safety tools very seriously and will be sure to approach them with maturity and respect.

How will character creation work

Starting characters are built on Alchemy and are fast and easy - creating formative events that determine the journey so far and where you wish to go. All creation will happen on Alchemy at creation, yet there will also be some pre-generated characters if you would rather that.
