About the adventure

Being a sidekick is the worst. Having all these powers and being forced to follow some old guy who is convinced he knows best? Nah. Not at all. It's time for people to recognize all your skills, for you to be the hero you need to be, for you to save the world. Together you will play a new batch of sidekicks embarking on the next stage of the heroes journey using the fantastic Masks: A New Generation. You will make a team together so you can rise above the problems of this world. Set within the lore of the DC Universe, you will find the road to being a hero is filled acne and happy accidents, tragedy and tribulations. But with all of that said, it will definitely be worth it.

How to prepare

The game will be done through Discord so making sure you have a functional internet connection and a working computer. I would also recommend a working microphone and webcam. You may use your own dice or the dice in the Discord.

What I provide

I will bring copies of the book as well as a fully built out Discord specifically for the adventure. I will also bring the years of love and affection for DC to make a unique, dynamic adventure that is responsive to your teenage drama.

Gameplay details

We will be starting with a full Session Zero to make sure we build the game to fit your needs, which will include filling out a Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist. The game plays heavily into teenage drama so making sure we have very strong sense of boundaries is a necessity. During play we will use a variant of the X, N, and O Cards called Red/Yellow Cards as well as an Open Door Policy and a regular mid-game Break.

How will character creation work

Character creation will be done as a part of the Session Zero. I would highly recommend bringing a few character concepts you would be interested in to the table as well as a sense of where in the DC lore you'd like to pull from.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
