About the adventure

In an audacious bid for power, the Cult of the Dragon, along with its dragon allies and the Red Wizards of Thay, seeks to free Tiamat from her prison in the Nine Hells to bring her to the Forgotten Realms. The cult's forces are sweeping from town to town, laying waste to all who oppose them and gathering a hoard of riches for their dread queen. 😈 Secret societies 💧 Castle in the clouds 🩸 Did I mention dragons! This is an officially published adventure from Wizards of the Coast. It has high fantasy, castles, keeps, cultists, and the occasional funny moment. My style of play is similar to Matt Mercer's: voices, detailed descriptions, and atmospheric music. I enjoy narrating cinematic moments and the monsters know what they're doing. Combat is dangerous and often requires more strategy than brute force to be victorious. Experience points, the fuel with which your character gains power, are awarded not only for combat but creativity, quests, and great roleplay moments. I guarantee that you will have fun, probably laugh out loud, and maybe even shed a tear. If for any reason you do not have a good time, I will refund the session - no questions asked. I only ask that you provide feedback so I may improve and grow from the experience. See you in the game!

How to prepare

How will character creation work

Pre-generated characters are available if you prefer to select a character. Join me in Discord, and I will guide you through character creation, ensuring you have everything you need to get started. Characters are created using official content from the Player's Handbook. Additional options may be allowed on a case-by-case basis. When joining the campaign your newly created character receives 50% of the experience of the campaign maximum, joining the game with a level-appropriate character.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
