Glitterdust: A Fairy Tale Adventure You have been summoned to the court of King Sunfyre, lord of the pixies. Hundreds of tiny fey have gathered to hear him speak, and his glade is filled with tinkling voices. Woodland animals peer warily from the bushes while wild birds fill the canopy overhead. The king steps from his brier throne and silences the crowd with a sweep of his hand. “My people!” he cries. “For years we've lived in fear of the bog hag, Rotten Ethel. We've heard what happens when she catches our kind, and we've wept for those who have fallen before her. My greatest warriors have been sent to slay her, and my wisest sorcerers plotted her downfall, all to no avail. Now her swamp grows larger by the day, and it encroaches at the very borders of my kingdom. Our animal friends have been driven from their homes and seek sanctuary at our doorstep. Worse, news has come that she’s kidnapped the fairest of all my subjects: Glitterdust, whose song heralds the height of summer.” Gasps are heard across the crowd. “I hereby call upon those of heroic heart. Who among you dares to venture inside the creeping swamp and put an end to Rotten Ethel’s evil?” Welcome to "Glitterdust," a short adventure (3-4 sessions) set in the Feywild. This module is one of my all-time favorites! It has a darkly whimsical, Brothers Grimm vibe to it. Expect wicked witches, talking animals, and all manner of fairytale fun (and horror!). This is an adventure that rewards clever thinking and creative problem solving. It is roleplay-heavy with a good mix of combat and puzzle-solving.

Additional Details

How to prepare

A good quality microphone is required. A webcam is highly recommended. You will need to make accounts on Discord and Roll20, both of which are free. I also recommend you download Zoom (for free), although it can be accessed through a browser. You do not need any physical materials to join the game. Character sheets and dice will be provided by Roll20 and/or D&D Beyond (depending on your preference).

What I provide

All handouts, maps, and digital dice will be provided through Roll20. I also provide access to every published 5e character creation option via a Master Tier subscription on D&D Beyond.

How will character creation work

Players will make a 3rd level character using one of the fey races (fairy, firbolg, satyr, centaur, changeling, harengon, or forest gnome). Characters will be built either directly in Roll20 or in D&D Beyond (in which case, they will be linked to Roll20 via the Beyond 20 plugin). I'm happy to help walk you through either option!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
