About the adventure

A sinister Cult A dangerous prophecy Can valiant heroes stop it? Where once there was a tyrannical queen of the dragons Tiamat tormented the lands, now she rages locked in the deep depths of the nine hells. there are rumours and reports of a cult rising to bring her back. The "wyrmspeakers" are collecting a mass of followers and sacrifices to feed the dragon queens ritual for carnage and rebirth. In response all the major factions have called out for adventurers to aid in stopping what can only be consider a cataclysmic event if successful. Everyone from the Zhentarim to the Lord's alliance have sent out requests. The only question remaining is who will answer? Hoard of the Dragon queen is a level 1 to 8 adventure that can lead into Rise of tiamat as a continuation campaign. Players will find Heavy roleplay, some puzzles and mystery within the sword coast, waterdeep and the surrounding areas. This adventure is designed to be accessible to new players as well as those with knowledge of the lore of Tiamat.

How to prepare

players will only need to bring a working microphone, as well as a free account on roll20, D&D beyond and discord. everything else will be provided for players by me.

What I provide

I will bring all the books required, ambient music, battle maps, token creation and create homebrew plotlines/quests/items for each person's backstory they submit to me.

Gameplay details

Creative use of rules, if a player can think of a creative way to do something that wont necessarily fit within rules as written I will consider a way for it to happen with corresponding checks/rolls.

How will character creation work

session 0 will be for character creation with D&D beyond content sharing so everything I own will be of access to players. the table rules and questions will also occur during this session 0. I will also ask players to create a backstory in which I will use to create a unique experience on top of the boxed campaign.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
