Doomed Knights Embark on One Last Hunt - One Shot

About the adventure

In HUNT, you and your fellow players will tell the story of a doomed order of knights. In a final desperate act, the knights gather together for one final quest into the wild forest surrounding their once great keep. You'll choose a type of knight and the cursed weapon you have taken from the vault to get your revenge on The Beast. HUNT is for 3-5 players and uses the LUMEN 2.0 system, which is entirely diceless favoring the management of resources and strategic decision-making, focusing on collaborative storytelling, and puzzle-like combat. By the end, your characters will have either succeeded or failed, but regardless, their story will have been told. You don't need to anything about this system to get started. Simply choose an order of Knight from the options provided and which cursed artifact you'll take from the vault to enact your vengeance.

How to prepare

Please familiarize yourself with the Knight Orders and the Weapons so you know your options before we begin. If you'd like to explore more of the ruleset, you're welcome to, but I'll be teaching as we go through the game.

Gameplay details

My goal with any one-shot is to prepare you as much as possible in advance so that we're able to have an amazing concentrated time of fun. I'll connect with players in advance and make sure we're on the same page as far as expactations as well as any concerns the player may have. Additionally, I utilize Discord for players to feel free to flag any concerns privately so they don't feel singled out for doing so.

How will character creation work

This is a big part of what makes the session interesting. We'll be making our characters together during the session. It's quite simple and requires only two decisions from the player, which Order of Knight you want to play, and which cursed weapon you'd like to take from the vault.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
