About the adventure
Welcome to a new high level campaign, my name is Tompson and I'll be your DM as we venture through all of the Nine Hells to save your own lives or those of your loved ones... Or more likely die trying. This campaign starts at 11th level and will see the characters rise to 20th throughout Here's a quote of the book about the story itself: "This story takes place in the Nine Hells and sees the characters confront its ruler, Asmodeus. They venture into the Nine Hells to save the souls of their loved ones (or their own) and are aided by a powerful faction. This faction has its own reasons for wanting revenge on Asmodeus. With the help of the characters, the faction believes it can deal a devastating blow to him. In return for a favor, the faction provides characters with access to the Nine Hells and a means of traversing the different layers. " About me: I've been a professional DM for the last 6 years of my life and i've been running at least two campaigns a week ever since, sometimes up to 7 when I can find the players for it. I've been running three for a while now, but since we've finished the other campaign by the same writer (Arcanum Games, Odyssey of the Dragonlords), I wish to replace it with a new one, and this one came out just in time. As for my gaming style, my sessions aren't focused on immersion but instead more akin to a group of friends around a table playing the game as intended. I will still be doing my best to make it the best experience possible of course, it's just not the type of experience where you are in character 100% of the time. On the other hand though, my games are much more dependent on roleplay and problem solving than just purely combat based victories as I do not enjoy "random encounter type" combat, just for combat sake.

How to prepare
A microphone is mandatory, and you will also require Discord which requires an account. Characters can be made ahead of time or with me, either option is fine as long as I get to review them. In addition it is important that each player thinks about a simple question: Whose soul was stolen? Your own characters? A loved one? This matters in the campaign both story wise and mechanically Knowing the rules ahead of time is not required, as long as I am aware ahead of time that the player does not know the basics.
What I provide
The campaign will be prepared and ready to go on either Foundry VTT or Roll20 by the time that we start playing. I believe i own most of the content available for players in Roll20, but if something is lacking I can just fill in the gaps manually or purchase the missing content. First we will make a session 0 free of charge, to get everyone in the same page, as this campaign includes higher level starts and we might need to make these characters people who accomplished things that require the DMs permission. The book supports this and as a guide to help us do so. Afterwards we will simply begin the session the week afterwards assuming everything is good to go. It would be ideal if the players already know a bit about their character by this point, such as how they act, how they look, anything that's important for playing as them and of course having their mechanics finalized.
Gameplay details
When it comes to the Content Warnings sadly the answer for this one is :Yes. It is a campaign about diving into hell and going through each level, where the unspeakable clearly happened. If there is a particular thing a player might be uncomfortable with, it's better to let me know ahead of time so we can avoid it. In addition to that sex isn't going to be a common theme. Either way, I do not wish to delve deep into themes such as sexual violence, and things akin to it, and I don't expect them to be in the adventure.

How will character creation work
We will be using regular 27 point buy and have all content that belongs to the Forgotten Realms available to us. Content outside of the FR can be used on a case by case basis, as well as homebrew but not recommended.
