Deadlands: Horror at Headstone Hill
Savage Worlds, Deadlands on Roll20
About the adventure
Saddle up for a ride through the Weird West! Taking you back to 19th century Wyoming, there's mysteries to be solved at booming Headstone, er, Heaston Hill! But not all is cowboys and bandits, partner. There's something out there... The kinda things that go bump in the night. Join me for a plot point campaign set in Deadlands, a western horror themed setting in Savage Worlds. This game is open to those unfamiliar with the Savage Worlds system. I'll take you through everything you need to know, from character creation to combat!
How to prepare
A Roll20 account is a must. A microphone is preferred and webcams are optional. You won't need dice as Roll20 has built in dice, but just rolling your own at the desk and saying what you got is just fine and it's what I'll be doing. Roll20 also handles character sheets.
What I provide
I'll be bringing the rulebooks and the materials to run the modules.
This game will contain themes common in western and horror stories, including descriptions of violence and gore. That being said, the safety and comfort of everyone at the table is my top priority. If you don't feel safe and comfortable, you can't trust me; if you can't trust me, you can't enjoy yourself; and enjoying yourself is the whole point. Script Changing will be utilized to skip any descriptions that make you uncomfortable for any reason. We can discuss other safety tools we can bring to the table.

How will character creation work
Characters will be created in our first session unless you're enough familiar with Savage Worlds Adventure Edition (SWADE) and Deadlands: The Weird West to do it with less guidance. Characters will start at "level 0," or, in SWADE parlance, with no advances.
Players can expect
- Combat/Tactics: Medium
- Roleplay: High
- Puzzles: Medium
- Experience Level: None
