About the adventure

Welcome to new players, people revisiting D&D and experts alike in this new campaign from WotC Dungeons and Dragons 5e, Shadow of the Dragon Queen! All kind, committed players are welcome! We will start as level 1 and hopefully end as 10+ by the end of our journey through the land of Krynn! If you survive! This epic campaign welcomes newcomers and advanced players alike. DM will have final word on rules and will at times bend them to favor fluid game play when necessary. The Shadow Queen is returning with her armies of Dragons to retake the land! Will you and your group aid in her conquest or rise up for the people to stop this evil threat once again? The choice is yours in this epic role playing adventure!

How to prepare

If you do not have accounts on with the following websites you will need to do so, preferably before session 0. https://www.dndbeyond.com/ - If you do not have an account you will need to create one for character creation https://roll20.net/ - This is our Virtual Table Top (VTT) and will be used for maps, tokens, and other visuals. Chrome Browser - This is required for Beyond20 extension Please ensure you have downloaded and installed this. Beyond20 Chrome Browser extension - https://beyond20.here-for-more.info/ - used to pass info and dice rolls to Roll20 from DNDBeyond. What I provide

All D&D Beyond source books, dynamic lighting, mood music via Syrinscape and sound effects as well as mediocre voices, bad jokes and better puns! Paid Roll20 maps, tokens and other items. Unfortunately you will need to provide your own snacks. As as Neutral Good GM you may partake of spirits as you wish, please don't do it and become evil.

Gameplay details

We go over all sensitivities in session 0 and go over how to use the X, N and O cards for player safety. House rules are simply that we will follow the 5E rules to the best of our ability, rule lawyers that interrupt the flow are not desired. Try to handle rules and reminders in a discreet non-interrupting way. Even GM's make mistakes. At times we will deal with multiple role-play moment with an initiative type system to ensure everyone has a chance to speak out and act as their characters would in the moments. Interruption can be ok if it is appropriate for the game. Often times technology makes it hard for some voice to be heard. This can be alleviated through turn based role-playing. How will character creation work

Character Creation will happen during Session 0. Best thing to prepare is your Character personality. Are you wanting to play Evil or Good? Spell caster or hack and slash? Material that is specific to the Dragonlance universe will be used during creation. This adventure requires all players to have a common friend, I will assist with the backstory connections if necessary. Players will keep their player characters on D&D beyond and are theirs to keep when they leave the campaign.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
