D&D 5e Adventure - "Baldur's Gate: Descent Into Avernus!"

About the adventure

Have you been playing the amazing "Baldurs Gate 3?" Wonder what all this Elturel talk is about? Or is this just one of the D&D 5th edition adventures you have yet to experience? Well, join me and experience the 'prequel', as it were, to the video game. "Descent Into Avernus" will take into the Nine Hells, Baldur's Gate and Elturel, as well as connect some dots to one of the biggest video game releases in 2023. What's a Soul Coin? What's Baldur's Gate like? What all this devil talk? How hot is hell? Experience what it's like to save a city from hell. Will you go to hell and back again to save innocent citizens? Will you be able to save yourself? Choices will be made. Fates determined. And while the forces of good and evil (and evil) fight it out, you will be stuck right in the middle. Which path will you choose?

How to prepare

We will be using Zoom for audio and video, Roll20 for Maps, character sheet and information management. I have optional Syrinscape for audio, and can create a Discord channel if the group desires.

What I provide

I will have everything else needed for our game. Anything you don't have, I will be able share, including the sourcebooks through Roll20.

Gameplay details

We'll go over lines and veils at our Session 0, along with the X-Card system both on Roll20 and can be used over Zoom.

How will character creation work

Feel free to create a Level 1 D&D 5e character in advance of our Session 0. I would just advise to have a loose attachment to it, in case you all decide to make adjustments based on group discussion of party composition. You can also come to Session 0 and create it from scratch there and I also have pre-gens I can have if you prefer.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
