About the adventure

Crown of the Oathbreaker is a D&D 5E compatible dark adventure taking characters from 1st-13th level. The adventure is set in multi-layered sandbox realms, in which the players will uncover dark secrets from the past of a royal family after the fall of a blessed era to break a curse that plagues the kingdom. The characters will have to explore lands ravaged by the Midnight Curse and travel to the Feyrealm, the Shadowrealm, and even Hell, where they will face hard choices and moral dilemmas before saving the crown from the dreadful effects of an otherwise inevitable pact. Crown of the Oathbreaker is about the tragic selfishness of a king, about the evil forces that take advantage of his weaknesses to cause suffering everywhere, and about the final consequences and the curse that results.

How to prepare

You will need a decent microphone and Discord. You will need, at the very least, a demo version of Fantasy Grounds Unity. Characters generated before session 0 can be made using the point buy. Characters generated at session 0 can be rolled up.

What I provide

I will provide a Discord server, the ultimate FGU licenses and the handbooks that come with it. I will provide player handouts to give information on the world and region the party will be starting in.

Gameplay details

Crown of the Oathbreaker is intended for adult audiences only. The adventure module describes and depicts many forms of physical and psychological abuse, assault, violence, and sexual references that might offend or trigger some players.

How will character creation work

The characters will be 1st level. Any characters made in advance of Session 0 must be made using the point buy in the Players Handbook. Characters created at Session 0 will be given the option of rolling up stats.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
