How to prepare

If you don't already, you will need free accounts for Discord, Roll20 and D&D Beyond, nothing needs to be purchased. A good mic and headset is recommended for voice communication on Discord. A browser plugin called Beyond20 can be used to send your D&D Beyond rolls to Roll20. A link to the Discord Server and D&D Beyond Campaign will be sent to you beforehand. Send me any pictures of your character ahead of time so that tokens can be created. A half-page character backstory would be nice but not mandatory.

What I provide

Most character options on D&D Beyond. Pro Roll20 subscription with custom effects and macros. Premium battle-maps additional to module. Syrinscape (sound effects) and music subscriptions. Minor homebrew to reduce gameplay frustration.

Gameplay details

We will go over some of the major gameplay and introductory story beats in Session Zero, as well as create characters. I am open to receiving lines, veils and cards digitally to my DMs before the game and at any point, and publicly at session zero if you are comfortable with that. I will ask for feedback after sessions and you can either let the group know or DM me afterwards. Player characters will begin the campaign at Level 4 and also start with a free feat, 50 GP and one common magic item.

How will character creation work

Characters will be created in a campaign on D&D Beyond. I allow most official player character options except commonly cheesed options like silvery barbs, flying species characters and summoning more than 2 creatures that detracts from other players fun. The party will start at level 4 with starting equipment and a free feat, a common magic item and +50GP. We can create characters during session zero or before the campaign starts. I have most of the official source books available on D&D Beyond if needed but I can purchase other options if needed. Mostly options from the Player's Handbook, Xanathar's Guide, Tasha's Cauldron and Mordenkainen's Monsters of the Multiverse should suffice. I am not opposed to third-party material and some homebrewing, provided we can recreate it in Beyond and the other players agree to it.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
