About the adventure

Your father has sentenced you to die for a crime you didn't commit. His name: Strahd von Zarovich. Survive the dreaded Death House and take down your father, the vampire lord of Barovia! If you’ve ever dreamt of going up against a powerful vampire who is also your father, then this is the campaign for you! This is one of the most popular DnD adventures, and for good reason, providing a fantastic gothic horror sandbox, Barovia, filled with thrills and tense moments! The adventure takes you from levels 1 to 10, and we will be using Van Richten’s Guide To Ravenloft to deepen Barovia and to bring several options for being the children of Strahd. How to prepare

You will need the following: - A decent computer setup that allows you to hear others and others to hear you in a Discord call - Internet connection (high speed internet offers the best experience) - Webcam is optional but I encourage it as it enhances everyone's experience - Web browser - Discord: Create an account, download Discord, and join the Dice & Easy server (you will be sent a link upon signing up) - Foundry VTT account: https://foundryvtt.com/auth/register/ - The Forge account: https://eu.forge-vtt.com/account/login If you're not familiar with Foundry VTT, no worries! I will teach you how to use it.

I will provide the following: - DnD 5e core books - Foundry VTT license - Curse of Strahd campaign (including maps, tokens, major NPC art) running in Foundry - 3D dice, special effects, music, animated splash screens for major locations

Gameplay details

Body Horror Gothic Horror Psychological Horror I will be sending you the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist before we start playing to understand your Lines and Veils. We will also have a Session 0 where we will go over how to use X, N, O cards (inside the VTT), breaks policy, aftercare, and how Stars and Wishes will work. Safety: Rape and sexual assault will not be part of this campaign

How will character creation work

We will go through character creation together as a group during Session 0 where we will also work on bonds between characters together. You should bring the following to the Session 0: - A character concept - What sort of role you want the character to fill - What race and class you're thinking of playing However, be prepared to change your character concept to make it work with the group. Character Creation: - All official DnD 5e books allowed - No homebrew or Unearthed Arcana - No evil PCs - Starting at level 1 - Standard Array or Point Buy - For HP you can roll or choose the average

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
