About the adventure

A DARK ADVENTURE FOR A LEVEL 5 PARTY. MYSTERY, GOTHIC HORROR, ROLEPLAY, HUMOR, AND COMBAT The village of Redmire is a small town that most travelers stay far away from, whispers of its dark legacy spreading far beyond the blackened trees of its twisted forest. In a town so cursed with misfortune, bad omens must be taken with the utmost seriousness. And when villagers or sometimes entire families vanish from their homes by the next sunrise, you look beyond the walls of your village to help. You are an adventurer tasked with investigating the disappearances of villagers in Redmire. Your only clue is the sounds they hear from the black forest at night, a crunching and slurping like some accursed beast has just found its next meal…

Gameplay details

We will be going through the standard RPG Consent checklist before playing the game! If there are any upsetting topics to you as a player, knowledge beforehand will let me work around them. Any issues you may have with the topics can be messaged to me privately before we begin in earnest, on the call or more in advance, and I will make note. Though this is a horror one shot, player comfort is necessary to live this adventure to the fullest. This adventure by default contains, blood, fantasy violence, and potential body horror--but of course it can always be adjusted. And if anything mid-session becomes too upsetting, since we will be playing on Zoom, simply direct message me on the call "X - (content you are upset by)" and we will work around that without further focus. I will keep it anonymous unless you request otherwise. Happy to answer any other questions of the subject!

How will character creation work

You may either bring a level 5 character of your own creation, or choose from the pre-created ones I have ready on D&D Beyond (I will give you full access to their sheet)

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
