Baldur's Gate : Descent into Avernus Campaign

About the adventure

The holy city of Elturel has disappeared from the Forgotten Realms and descended into Avernus, the first layer of the Nine Hells. This event came about as the result of an infernal bargain between the archdevil Zariel, who rules Avernus, and the treacherous High Overseer of Elturel, Thavius Kreeg. Zariel is capturing cities and using their citizens as fodder in the ongoing conflict between demons and devils known as the Blood War. Next on Zariel’s list of cities is Elturel’s neighbor, Baldur’s Gate. The characters can be the heroes who descend into Avernus, save Elturel from certain destruction, and prevent a similar fate from befalling Baldur’s Gate. CHAPTER 1: A TALE OF TWO CITIES For characters of levels 1—4 Pressed into service by the Flaming Fist, the characters seek out and destroy Dead Three cultists who are threatening Baldur’s Gate. As the machinations of the Vanthampur family come to light, the characters have a chance to confront Thavius Kreeg, the architect of Elturel’s downfall, before traveling to Candlekeep to unlock a mysterious puzzle box and gain safe passage to the Nine Hells. To Be Continued... Session 0 (FREE) - Character creation 2-4hrs based on how long it takes to setup everyone character/foundry module. Characters - Starting at lvl 1 , regular gear plus 200g pregame to spend on a item of there choice be it potion or other item. All players will be interviewed before the game to clarify that they have descent mic and connection. Also using Syrinscape for audio Requirements - Foundryvtt connection discord dndbeyond good mic Camera is optional

How to prepare

Prep to make sure your mic/headset and discord/foundry vtt are all ready and any top down hero forge image you would like to use for your character or we can also do that during session 0.

What I provide

I will bring foundryvtt client, syrinscape, maps, quests, and adventures!

Gameplay details

Session 0 - Will consist of us developing our characters going over the connections to foundry and importing, we will also discuss things you like and dislike and try and make pinpoints on what to avoid and excel at so as to make the game more fun and enjoyable for everyone.

How will character creation work

Character Creation will be done on dndbeyond and will be imported into foundry vtt upon doing so we will go over everything in the game to make sure its correct and works.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
