About the adventure
This is a science fantasy D&D game where the players have been isekai'd into a videogame-like setting called Anima Somnium. Your party will not be the only "players" among the Somnium people, however your party will work to shape the world depending on your actions, sometimes even changing the fundamental rules of the world. • An Isekai videogame-like adventure with an engaging world that can evolve from your actions! • Each player gains a soulbound magic item that grows in power as they complete custom sidequests created for the item that help further your character's aspirations in the world. • Each player has access to a messaging system for players in their friends list, fast travel to previously found locations of importance, a player inventory that acts as a bag of holding, a map, and more! • Challenging tactical combat balanced with sandbox exploration. • Custom animated tokens of each player's tokens! • Custom tokens and animated maps • Soundtrack and ambient noise provided in session • Inclusive environment for all identities, both in and out of game • After-session communication for any questions, concerns, or banter Anima Somnium: A D&D 5e Isekai adventure is perfect If you are new to RPG's or not comfortable with playing a character. You can just play yourself being transported to this fantastical science fantasy world and gaining these new powers. Players will know that they are transported into a game so meta-gaming and using their real world knowledge is fine and encouraged sometimes to break things, like you are breaking an actual videogame. The full Isekai rules that alter the game are listed in the Discord upon joining if you would like to read them. The Isekai adventure is inspired by anime such as Overlord, KonoSuba, .Hack//, Sword Art Online, and Log Horizon. Players will become powerful adventurers that can start to alter the course of the world with their actions, facing unique and powerful foes to test their ever growing power. If you are a player that just wants to make a harem and seduce everything, this game is not for you. This is not a harem simulator.

How to prepare
• Working microphone (Discord is for voice only so no camera is needed) • Free Discord and Forge VTT accounts • Must be 18 years or older to play without a guardian • There are additional Isekai 5e rules that change how the game runs compared to a regular D&D 5e game. They don't need to be read, but will be available to be read at any time.
What I provide
• Foundry VTT hosted on the Forge so you can access your character between sessions • Resources required for character creation • Animated assets and battlemaps • Music for ambience and combat • Animated token for player characters
Gameplay details
I will go over lines/veils, table rules, and the multiple places you can access the x,n, and o cards at the start of the session. If any of the content warnings are a line, the campaign can be adjusted to not include it, and not all content warnings are guaranteed to appear but just have the chance to appear in the campaign. Any questions you have for Foundry VTT or D&D if you are new can also be addressed at the start of the game or before the game starts if you would like.

How will character creation work
• Official content/homebrew/third-party content can be allowed upon review but might be changed. • Point buy or Standard Array for ability scores, take average HP on level-ups. • Take starting equipment from class, instead of a background you will instead gain two additional proficiencies of your choice. • Adjustments to your character for the first few sessions as you find out who they are or who you want them to become can be available. • Each player will enter the world with a soulbound magic item that starts as a regular magic item, but will become more powerful as the player completes custom quests given by the item. The quests it gives usually drives your character toward where your aspirations for your character are leading you. • Each player will have an animated character token for session 1, so we can work on what you envision your character looking like in session 0.
