About the adventure
It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single adventurer in possession of a quest, is in want of a party. For what are men to rocks and mountains? In the coastal town of Whiteport, you are partaking of a refreshing afternoon tea at the Travelling Mermaid with friends when you are handed a wedding invitation from an old friend you have not heard from in years. She is getting married! But the small note she personally wrote on the invitation is clear: "I need your help!" She was the sweetest and fairest of maids and the last woman you know to be a damsel in distress. As you stand, those you have been talking to offer their aid. For happiness in marriage is entirely a matter of chance. And for what do we live, but to make sport for our neighbours and laugh at them in our turn? You are invited to an elvish wedding and an evening filled with mystery, intrigue, and romance. The event is a wonderful opportunity for finding love and ever-lasting friendships. However, social events are perilous. Small mistakes can lead to gossip, a tarnished reputation, public disaster – and even dangerous duels. To make things worse, someone is suddenly found dead! You must find out what happened before the evening is over, but without rousing the suspicion of the other guests or potential love interests. Look for clues. Sharpen your wits. Interview the wedding guests. Can you solve the mystery before the evening is over?

How to prepare
Absolutely everything will be provided, D&D Beyond resources, Discord, and Roll 20 all hosted by the DM. You will need long in details for all three sites as well as a reliable microphone and head set. Web cams are optional. You are encouraged to provide your own character art, but it is not mandatory.

Discord Server, D&D Beyond resources, Roll 20 maps will be provided by the DM, along with Syrinscape for atmosphere.
Gameplay details
This is the romantic murder mystery published by Midnight Tower with my own twists thrown in. Even if you have read the campaign, I tweaked it so that the murder is not who you think it might be. Quotes from famous regency novels will be encouraged. Safety measures will be discussed and provided prior to game start. This is a fun slice of life game and should not be triggering in the slightest.

How will character creation work
There will be a session zero, but please prepare the following: - Level Three character using the PHB, Tasha's, Xanathar's, MoMM - Use the 27 point buy for stats - Material from other sources will be approved after discussion with the DM (I am probably going to say yes) - Equipment is from the background and class, either +1 armour OR +1 weapon, 200gp, and one uncommon magic item - All players get one additional feat at first level (because I love feats). Variant human is not available if you choose this. - Backstory! Even if it's a brief, who/what/when/where/why, something is better than nothing. If you don't, the DM might make something up...
