About the adventure

The Tressian Isles are a land of free peoples, of rebels against the crown, and of bounteous wonders - but they are also a place of danger, with deadly storms, the prospect of losing yourself at sea, and even deep-dwellers seeking to invade the surface... A swashbuckling adventure in an original setting where you can shape the world with your choices. Inclusivity is a priority at my tables so that everyone can have a good time. How to prepare

You will need a mic and a computer with a web browser. You don't need to know the rules in advance but if you do I'll appreciate it. You will also need accounts with discord and the Forge (both are free). If you wish to use video, you will need some kind of webcam.

What I provide

I will provide Foundry virtual tabletop with music, maps, and virtual dice. I will also provide lots of enthusiasm! We will be using my discord server with private channels for the game.

Gameplay details

Our first session will be a session 0 & 1. We will discuss safety tools, session length and number of breaks, and any character set-up that needs doing, and then get started on the adventure! We will likely use Smoke & Sail for our ship content, but if people would prefer something more narrative that is also an option. Safety tools: all lines and veils should be sent to me, and I will anonymise them and ensure the group is aware of where not to tread. We will also have an anonymous X-card button available, and the N- and O-cards can be typed into chat at any point. The content warnings include things that may potentially show up or are optional and can be removed. Please discuss with me if you would like some removed. There is no chattel slavery in this setting, but imperialism does exist. It is presented as bad so don't worry about this campaign glorifying colonial oppression.

How will character creation work

You can prepare a character in advance or show up to the session with only an idea; either way we will work together to fit the characters into the narrative. Characters should be input into Foundry by the end of session 0, and must be level 1.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
