    About the adventure

Under contract with a wealthy, influential individual, the Player Characters, are hired skilled individuals and Independent Contractors called "Agents", hired as multi-purposed problem solvers for the city-state and sometimes beyond. Each Agent is assigned to small party before they are sent out on missions that often last a few (in-character) days, or weeks. This is an Urban Fantasy setting, with very little restrictions on character creation options for thematic purposes only.

    Additional Details

    How to prepare

Players should: - Read the house rules and access the resources provided in separate channels within the discord server. If the party unanimously decides that a house rule is not for them, it could be removed that way, similarly, if they prefer a house rule to be added, it can be discussed. - Use a decent quality microphone as not to be disruptive during play. Players will need to audibly communicate during the game. Players are also expected to bring their own character portraits. They do not have to be 100% accurate.

    What I provide

Images of the world such as regional maps, minimal battle grid maps, relevant illustrations to aid the imagination during play, such as items, places, people, etc., and a way for them to create their character sheets, and digitally roll dice. I am also willing to create simple portraits for the characters, as accurately as I can in my own style, though it will not be a priority.

    Gameplay details

On session 0, the group will create their characters as a group, and discuss anything they may have the need to discuss, such as any triggers, limits to roleplay, or anything else that the players would like to avoid, to set a clear and concise image of how the game will proceed. Furthermore, the players will have the opportunity to submit their lines/veils requests. During the game and in the event of an X or N cards, players can either interrupt me directly in the voice call, or deafen and text/DM me immediately. After every game, a few minutes will be dedicated to player comments or concerns about the game, about what they enjoyed and what they did not prefer, and even suggest their solutions.

    How will character creation work

Character creation will take place before and during session 0. Players can choose a starting level of 3, 5, or 10 for the entire party, and should feel free to contact me about their ideas and/or any additional information they may want or need beforehand, to take few notes and expediate the process, but otherwise, the creation of character sheets will happen during the session. Player Characters do not have to be perfectly optimized, nor do I expect intentionally suboptimal characters for the sake of roleplay, or any other reason.

    Players can expect

    • Combat/Tactics: Medium
    • Roleplay: High
    • Puzzles: Low
    • Experience Level: Intermediate
