About me
I’m a queer GM who loves crafting collaborative stories with my players and giving them the space they need to develop their characters. When I first started playing tabletop role-playing games, I quickly realized their transformative power. My first D&D character was a half-orc warlock named Lug-Rae, and playing as her allowed me to experience what it felt like being referred to with she/her pronouns. I wasn’t out yet as a transgender woman, but this game allowed me the space to experiment with the gender presentation and identity I longed for. I was immediately hooked, and I started GMing as soon as I could. I aim for all my games to be a safe space for queer players and players from all marginalized groups. I want to empower my players to tell a collaborative story. I enjoy running games that are tailored around the backstories of the characters, and I’ve crafted campaigns like this for all of my D&D 5e home games. I also enjoy running narrative games like FATE that have world generation as part of the first session. (And I’ve designed my own narrative-style game called After The End.) Before the pandemic, I also ran weekly “Intro to D&D” sessions for the Arizona Game Fair. I love introducing new players to tabletop roleplaying and giving them the agency to tell their own stories. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
GM Style
I love roleplaying and character development, but I also have experience playing with quieter and more introverted players. My goal is to provide you with the agency to make choices that matter. I enjoy systems that don’t let the rules get in the way of a fun moment. One of my main sources of DM inspiration is the phenomenal D&D series Dimension 20. I aim for my table to be a safe space for people from marginalized communities. Racism, queerphobia, ableism, and sexism will not be tolerated. If you want those kinds of real world oppression to be part of the game, (ie you want the catharsis of punching a transphobe) we can have a conversation about including it as a story element, as long as all the other players are also comfortable with it.

Jaye is AMAZING! I learned a ton of stuff and had a total blast in her Character Creation/Intro Adventure Session. I was not new to RPG's, but totally new to D&D 5e, and she explained everything I needed to know and answered every question I had. She's clearly very knowledgeable about every aspect of the game. Once I had created my character, her mini-adventure to help me develop my backstory was GENIUS! Such a fantastic mix of combat, storytelling, problem solving, and high drama! 5 STARS!
Jaye is a fantastic GM. I started my first campaign with her a little over a year ago and she creates detailed words and NPCs and gives us as players room to role play and grow our characters. She sometimes throws in homebrew rules as well to further augment the experience. She also is excellent at being flexible when players decide to do something wholly different than she intended. In the second campaign that I'm in with her as a GM, we as players went completely the opposite direction than she had planned but I could hardly tell because she just went with it. She's also the type that if you have a backstory for your character, she does an excellent job of weaving that backstory into the story.
Jaye is incredibly immersive and wicked smart. She not only incorporates atmosphere and depth, but she keeps you on your toes. I love the voice she brings to the table - diverse, unique, and fresh. Any time she wants me back as a player, I’m signing up immediately. Love her take on GMing. Can’t wait to roleplay with her again!!
Jaye is literally the best DM/GM I know. She’s great at creating new and interesting narratives and balancing small and larger groups. She doesn’t let the game get bogged down by too much combat or slow down by an individual players side quests. It’s always well balanced narratively and game play wise. I always feel like I have an opportunity and a chance to do or say something to enhance the story and the game play. Wether you’ve never played a ttrpg before or you’ve DM’d yourself I can basically gaurantee she is the best possible DM you could ever hope to have. Hands down, bar none.
Best DM ever! Jaye puts a lot of work into every aspect of the game, from background playlists to NPC backstories. She's very flexible and willing to facilitate whatever the player has in mind. Knows how to manage edgelord chaotic evils as well as how to bring the true neutrals out of their shells. She prompts new and experienced players to utilize their imaginations in advancing the story with better tools than swords.
I can't say enough good things about Jaye. I've been through 3 campaigns with her and they have all been rich, emotional, organic journeys into well-thought universes. She is very flexible when it comes to player choice and emphasizes storytelling over mechanics - which is really great for players who aren't there to minmax or argue over rule sets. I would say my favorite thing about her campaigns is how unpredictable the plot is, and that player choices really influence the universe in tangible ways.
