About the adventure
The star portals are dead. Ship City is dying. But there is still hope. You are Explorers in a dangerous world. You do the work few others will. The enigmatic ruins of the Great Dark are shunned by most, but not by you. You seek them out, to delve into their shadowy depths and uncover their secrets. The Blight – the cataclysmic scourge that spreads from the ruins – is your beacon. Where there is Blight, there are artifacts to find and mysteries to solve. Ship City is fading, but you and your fellow Explorers can find a way to a better future. So don your delver suit, step aboard a mighty Greatship and venture down the Slipstream towards the unknown. Your creed: explore or perish! The Sky Machine is an introductory scenario for Coriolis: The Great Dark in which the Player Characters are a Delver team from the Explorer's Guild, sent to rescue a group of Prospectors that have disappeared into a recently opened fissure on the asteroid moon of Moubarra 4. Temptation, rival factions, and whatever lurks within the asteroid are some of the obstacles that you will need to overcome if you wish to succeed. The scenario should take 1-2 sessions to play through. TOUCHSTONES: Foundation, Dune, Alien, The Abyss, Arrival.

About me
Here to play games. TTRPG games to be specific. Started out with D&D 5e a few years back as a player and got hooked. Ran a few one-shots before doing the whole LMoP/DoIP beginner's campaign as a GM. I've tried, and picked up a few other game systems along the way, Old-School Essentials, Mörk Borg, Symbaroum, and Alien are some favourites. I like to think I've an open OSR style of GMing, preferring rulings over rules - I pick and choose from greater minds to try and become a better player and GM.

Creating your character
For this introductory scenario we'll be using Pre-Generated Player Characters.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll need Discord for voice chat and sharing of game materials, and a free account with Forge-VTT.com in order to access Foundry VTT. Foundry plays best with the latest Chrome or Edge browsers. You will need a decent mic and headphones. Discord offers push-to-talk mode if you can't help the background noise around you. Once added to the Discord server, you'll have access to the player materials - we'll address the specific rules as and when required, and a link to the game will be shared.
What Adam brings to the table
I often use custom made maps & tokens, and will provide materials for Character inspiration and creation as well as lore for the settings, as appropriate. Foundry VTT offers some fun features - maps, 3D dice, visual effects, and there'll be the usual ambient sounds and music to set the mood, which will hopefully make the experience more immersive for all. I make use of AI generated assets to fill in the gaps from time to time, for example when I can't find appropriate scene imagery or token art.
