About the adventure
An epic dungeon crawl of dark magic, deadly foes, and godlike ambition. A dead god stirs beneath Tu’narath, and Vlaakith, the immortal Githyanki Lich-Queen, intends to steal its divine spark and ascend to godhood. Your mission? Infiltrate her haunted Palace of Whispers. About me
I'm SpaceMage, an experienced Dungeon Master who loves bringing long-running adventures to life I've run campaigns for over a decade. I started off running the Delian Tomb with friends, then random one shots with a group for three years. After that I ran a four-year Dungeon of the Mad Mage campaign, and currently am running a updated version of The Night Below. I love creating adventures with memorable characters, interesting choices, ridiculous situations, and just enough danger to keep everyone honest. My style leans toward storytelling, roleplay and player agency, with plenty of room for the unexpected. I love an old school dungeon delve. 🎲 I'm also a lecturer, so I'm very comfortable helping new players learn the game without making them feel like they've accidentally enrolled in an exam. 😄 Outside of D&D, I'm a massive board-game and film nerd, which probably explains why I like cinematic adventures, weird NPCs and occasionally treating a goblin like the main character.🎬👹 If you enjoy classic fantasy, immersive adventures, character development and discovering what lies around the next corner, pull up a chair. ⚖️ Fair but Unforgiving: I aim to be fair, but I won't fudge the dice or shield you from the consequences of your decisions. The dice tell their story, your choices matter, and danger is real. If your character dies, they die.💀 Victory is earned, not guaranteed. Play smart, take risks, and remember: fortune favours the bold… but sometimes the dice have other plans! (You can just roll a new character as Gygax intended)

How SpaceMage creates a safe table
Our Session 0 is a chance for everyone to get to know each other, discuss character ideas, build the party, and get an overview of the campaign. We’ll also go through our table rules, safety tools, and StartPlaying policies to make sure everyone feels comfortable and knows what to expect. Once everyone is ready and all questions have been answered, we’ll hop into Foundry VTT for a quick tour so you can get familiar with the virtual tabletop before our adventure begins! The goal is to get everyone comfortable, excited, and ready to embark on an epic adventure together.
