About the adventure
HHHEELLLOOO CRAWLERS! Welcome to Floor 3. Build a level 10 crawler and step into the dangerous, ridiculous world of the Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG in this FREE introductory one-shot. Expect creative problem-solving, tense encounters, and the kind of questionable survival decisions that make great dungeon television. I'm an experienced DM and definitely a Dungeon Crawler Carl fan. No rules knowledge is needed: I'll teach the game as we play, so this is a chance to try the system with guidance and a group of fellow crawlers. The session includes character creation. I provide an easy-to-use character creation tool, similar in purpose to D&D Beyond, with automatic import into Foundry VTT. We'll make your crawler together, then put them to work on Floor 3. We'll play on Foundry VTT using Discord voice. Bring curiosity, a willingness to work with the party, and enough time for the full session. Come give the game a try... and kill, kill, kill!

Creating your character
We will create level 10 crawlers together at the start of the session, then begin on Floor 3. Character creation is included in the six-hour session. I provide a character builder similarly to a D&D Beyond-style character creator and automatically imports your crawler into Foundry VTT. You do not need to know the rules or make a character beforehand; I will guide you through the choices.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Bring a computer with a reliable internet connection, a microphone, and Discord for voice. Test your microphone before the session. No rules reading or prior system experience is required.
What The Storyteller brings to the table
I bring an experienced DM, plenty of enthusiasm as a Dungeon Crawler Carl fan, and a guided introduction to the RPG. I provide Foundry VTT, the adventure, rules explanations as we play, and an easy-to-use character creation tool with automatic Foundry import. We will build level 10 crawlers together and explore Floor 3 in this one-shot. I will save your progress and if your want to run again, you can pick up where you left off.
