About the adventure
Thirty Nights of Blood Vampire: The Dark Ages | Gothic Horror | Political Intrigue | Mystery A Prince rules through blood and fear. Every night, the villagers gather to pay their unholy tithe, offering their blood to the Kindred who claim dominion over them. The Church preaches obedience, the nobles demand loyalty, and the people have learned to accept their place as the flock. But something has gone terribly wrong. During a nightly mass, the Prince's servants are slaughtered, their blood spilled across the church floor. Nailed to the doors is a chilling message: “When the next full moon crowns the heavens, your Prince shall perish. His blood shall be returned unto the earth, and his stolen flock shall be free.” You have been tasked with finding the hunter responsible, protecting the Prince, and preventing the domain from descending into chaos. But beneath the surface of this seemingly simple assignment lies a web of ancient secrets, political rivalries, and horrors that have remained buried for generations. You have thirty nights. The clock will not stop. Every session represents one night. Every decision matters. Pursue one lead, and another opportunity may slip away. Save an ally, and an enemy may gain the advantage. Ignore a growing threat, and it may come back to haunt you when you can least afford it. The world will not wait for you. What Awaits You 🩸 A Race Against Time: Thirty sessions. Thirty nights. One inevitable deadline. Your choices shape the story, and the world continues to move whether you're ready or not. 🕯️ Gothic Medieval Horror: Explore a domain steeped in superstition, religious corruption, ancient secrets, and the ever-present hunger of the Kindred. 🦇 Vampire Court Intrigue: Navigate rivalries, fragile alliances, forbidden ambitions, and the dangerous politics of the undead. 🔎 A Mystery That Evolves: Investigate murders, follow leads, uncover conspiracies, and discover how your decisions change the course of the chronicle. ⚖️ Meaningful Moral Choices: Protect the Prince, aid the people, pursue the hunter, or forge your own path. Every choice carries consequences. 🌑 A Story With a Definite Ending: This is a purpose-built chronicle with a beginning, escalating tension, and a final night that will be shaped by your actions.

About me
Hello everyone! I'm Cody, otherwise known as the Forever DM! I've been playing tabletop RPGs for over 23 years, but my love for games started long before I discovered Dungeons & Dragons or any traditional RPG system. Even back then, I was making up my own games and adventures. Everything changed when my dad bought me the core rulebooks for Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition, sparking a lifelong passion for storytelling, worldbuilding, and tabletop gaming. What makes me a little unique is that I'm a true Forever DM. I rarely get the chance to play a character myself, spending most of my time behind the screen creating memorable adventures for others. Over the years, I've introduced countless new players to the hobby, and there's something genuinely special about helping someone learn the game, watching them discover their creativity, and seeing that moment when everything just clicks. While D&D will always be my first love and my gateway into the hobby, I've since branched out into other fantastic systems, including Vampire: The Masquerade, Cyberpunk RED, and Arkham Horror. I love exploring different worlds, trying new systems, and finding new ways to tell incredible stories with the people around the table. This past year running games on StartPlaying has been a real eye-opener. I've had the chance to meet wonderful people, make new friends, introduce players to systems they might never have tried otherwise, and learn a lot about the kind of GM I want to be. For me, the players always come first. I want you to feel like you're part of a living, breathing world where your choices matter. You're not just along for the ride; you help drive the story. The world reacts to what you do, the story shifts and changes with your decisions, and the most memorable moments are the ones we create together. I don't want amazing things happening off-screen that you have no opportunity to influence. I want to see what happens when you take an unexpected approach, come up with a creative solution, or turn my carefully laid plans completely upside down! I also want my games to be as accessible and welcoming as possible. Personally, I don't want someone to miss out on this incredible hobby because of financial constraints. That's why I've capped all my games at $15 per session. I want people to have the opportunity to meet new friends, explore fantastic worlds, and create unforgettable stories without feeling like the cost is a barrier to entry. At the end of the day, TTRPGs are about coming together, having fun, and creating stories that we'll remember long after the dice stop rolling. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or picking up your first character sheet, there's a place for you at my table. If you're looking for a fun, inclusive, and welcoming space where creativity, roleplay, and memorable stories come first, I'd be happy to be your guide on your next TTRPG adventure!

I take a few minutes at the beginner and end of each session to get a vibe check on how people are feeling about themes or elements of the story. I also have an open door policy on bringing up any issues or problems at my tables - All concerns will be heard and will never be down played or not properly considered.
