About the adventure
Mr. & Mrs. Fearmonger hold an annual, spooky fall event: a corn dungeon filled with creepy surprises. The dungeon costs a mere 1 cp to enter, but the couple earn extra income from the concession stands and games located near the entrance. There’s only one way out of the corn dungeon, which is located at its end. Every year, a few participants try to circumnavigate the dungeon by creating their own trails through the corn. This year, the Fearmongers were visited by a charming woman who explained that she had heard of the Fearmonger’s corn dungeon, and how people often cheated their way through it. But she had something special for them: a wondrous blend of corn that tethered to the other stalks with thick, impenetrable vines, making cheating nearly impossible. The Fearmongers were ecstatic! They invest significant time, effort, and coin into their yearly project to make it a wondrous event, and they want people to experience the entire dungeon. There’s no cheating in dungeoneering. No longer would the corn dungeon be cheated!

About me
I first learned about TTRPGs some time after D&D 3.5e had come out, so I had a lot of catching up to do at the time. However, as soon as I was exposed to the possibilities, the dam was broken and I was hooked. I've been in and out of groups since then, but when the pandemic began, I had nothing but extra time to play tabletop games. I started homebrewing my own content, running my own games, and making my own maps. I'm not satisfied with playing tropes or going with what's easiest. As a fantasy fiction writer, I want to tell stories that are engaging, breathtaking, and continue to surprise you at every turn. I like to keep things cohesive, but always allow my players to make their own choices, and face the consequences that may or may not follow. The story we tell together should feel like the result of the choices you make together. That's the game I want to create for you. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to the style and length of the adventure you'd like to play. From intense one-shots to elaborate campaigns spanning 2 years. I can run official modules, or invite your group to the setting of my world, Inaelia.

Creating your character
You are free to any official content, including content approved for Lands of Inaelia. However, other content from third-party settings are not allowed (Ravnica, Eberron, Strixhaven, Drakkenheim, etc.). Point buy will be used to determine stats, with a free 3 points to distribute how you like, in lieu of racial bonuses (No one ability can gain more than 2 points from this bonus). You are also allowed one free feat at level 1, and a magic item of your choice whose rarity is no higher than uncommon, and does not require attunement. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to send them to me.

How RollPlayer1 creates a safe table
An X-card button will be available in the VTT for players to use anonymously. Once used, the game will stop and that player can message me directly so we may resolve the issue. This is an LGBTQ+-friendly game, and I have a zero-tolerance policy for hate speech of any kind. Whether that be against gender, sexual orientation, race, nationality, and/or creed. Nor will sexual assault be tolerated, whether simulated or as a joke. I want everyone who comes to my table to feel welcomed and safe. Communication is important, and you are always welcome to message me with any questions you may have or to bring up any concerns about the details of the campaign. If something makes you uncomfortable, please signal me right away and we will either retcon, skip, and/or avoid the issue.
