About the adventure

Space exploration is nothing like the science-fiction films made us believe. Interstellar distances are almost impossible to comprehend, and the universe is, for the most part, an immense and empty expanse. Life, however, had already been found beyond Earth. Simple microbial organisms had been detected on distant worlds, providing the first proof that life was not unique to our planet. But they were primitive forms of life. Nothing that could compare to the complexity of Earth's biosphere. Then HD 72673 d was discovered, a planet roughly 50 light-years from Earth, later renamed Supergaia. Orbiting a KV2-type star, Supergaia was a world slightly larger than Earth, with somewhat higher gravity. It possessed a dense, rich atmosphere, vast oceans, liquid water, and an extraordinary number of biosignatures. But more importantly, every piece of data suggested the presence of an incredibly complex biosphere. Supergaia wasn't simply another planet with life. It was the first known world beyond the Solar System that appeared to host a vast, diverse, and highly evolved ecosystem. A world teeming with life. Its distance made reaching it with conventional technology impossible. The journey would take an immense amount of time. So no ship carrying thousands of people was sent. Instead, something much smaller — and infinitely more important — was sent: the building blocks of life. DNA, embryos, and the technology needed to give birth to a new generation of humans on another world. Eighty years after the first Earth ships arrived, the colony had finally taken root. Then came a discovery. A discovery that would change everything humanity thought it knew about Supergaia. And you will be there to uncover the truth.

About me

Hello! I’m a huge nerd and a TTRPG enthusiast with around 12 years of experience as a GM. Over the years, I’ve played and run a wide variety of systems, developing a particular passion for simulationist games, science fiction, horror and cybepunk. More generally, though, what I look for in games is consistency: I like worlds that have rules, where things make sense, and where the different elements of the story fit together. I like depth in everything. I want games to leave a mark, for decisions to have weight, and for something to have genuinely happened by the end of a session that was worth experiencing. I've played and run many different systems and genres, but I tend to gravitate towards games with deep worldbuilding, interesting mechanics, and worlds that feel like they exist beyond the players. And I'm pretty funny too, maybe (I hope)
