About the adventure
You’re elves from Santa’s workshop and today is the final countdown to your one day off per year. Unfortunately, the Christmas Eve blizzard blew in early this morning, snowing in the whole place. And Santa’s trapped out in it! You’ll need to make your way to where he was last seen so you can get him back in time to deliver the presents. New to Nimble? Not a problem. It’s fun to play and easy to learn, and if you’ve ever played a TTRPG, you’ll be fine. Even if you’re entirely new, I’ll walk you through it! I’ll make pre-gen characters for the one-shot, each a different class - all of you will be Gnome ancestry.

About me
I run playful games with occasional tactical combat, lots of roleplay, and meaningful consequences. We make stories together and it's a blast. Come for the shenanigans, stay for the friends. I'm a former high school literature/writing teacher and get a kick out of teaching new games to new friends. I'm also a community theater performer and costumer who loves a touch of character in my characters. Come play with me!

Creating your character
I’ll make pre-gen characters for the one-shot, each a different class - all of you will be Gnome ancestry to reflect your tinkering Christmas Elf selves, but you'll have lots of room to shine.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We'll use my Discord channel to talk during the game. Once you use the link to join, let me know, and I will add you to the Nimble One-Shot Channels. You will need to accept the rules in the rules-and-roles channel before you'll be able to post. This is to limit spam bots and keep the space friendly for all.
What Lizz brings to the table
I will send you a Roll20 link on the Discord for your game. You can also ask any questions there before or after (or during) and I'll help you as best I can.

How Lizz creates a safe table
We do lines and veils in my games. For those unfamiliar with it, lines are things that don't come up in game and veils are things that are treated with more of a fade to black mentality. These are safety tools to make sure everyone is able to enjoy the game (since fun is the point). You can see a starting list in my faq on the discord, and I will reach out to each player to ask if they have anything they need to add. In Game Safety Tools are also available to everyone as buttons at the bottom of the screen on Roll20: X-Card: This is not OK. Please change, rewind, or skip the content. No-thanks: This is getting a little uncomfortable. We may be heading towards an X. Please change the content or “fade to black”. Everybody-Ok?: We’re checking in to see if everyone is okay. Feel free to respond with an All-Good or a No-thanks! All-Good: I'm ok. Let's keep going. More-Please: I want to know everything about everything in this place and moment because it is very fun and very cool.
