About the adventure
Greetings, heroes: You have received this communication as a sign you've made it. Good work, you're a real hero now. And real heroes make rough choices. Do we stop the villain, save the world, or just one person? What's more important, our hero life or real life? Well, now it's time to start answering those questions in a way that matters. You have been selected as a possible candidate for the next Guardians of the Globe. If you show up, you'll be subjected to several trials that will test your strength of mind, body, and soul. The coordinates are below. Don't be late. | Time, Date, Longitude, Latitude | Cecil, head of the Global Defense Agency This game will be set one year following the season one finale of invincible. One of the main changes was throughout the battle several Guardians of the Globe members broke ranks to assist Mark against his father, all of whom died. Mark has recovered, Omniman has fled Earth, and it's time for a new team to form. You will be playing as original established heroes with a tie into the universe trying out for the next Guardians lineup. Everything else about the world will be discussed in session zero, but a rewatch of season one will be both fun and informative. DISCLAIMER: The games I run deal heavily with the themes and tropes of the setting. This isn't a "bring the OC you've been crafting for years who was originally a Young Justice OC" or "I just wanna roll dice" kind of game. We'll be playing Invincible, with all its problems and quirks.

About me
🌟 Professional Dungeon Master | Superhero Enthusiast | YouTuber | Streamer | Game Designer 🌟 🛡️ Expert in cozy games and RPGs 🎲 Crafting immersive tabletop adventures 🎙️ Hosting engaging fireside chats on all things RPGs 📺 Sharing tips, tricks, and gameplay on YouTube 🎮 Streaming magical journeys and cozy game sessions Join me on a quest through enchanting worlds, epic tales, and heroic standoffs!✨ Meowdy, I usually run homebrewed scenarios in games that benefit from a deeper level of roleplay, though I'm no slouch when it comes to interesting and engaging combat, either. I have a passion for character development and incorporating my players' stories into my world, sometimes making permanent changes to the world depending on the heroes' actions. My tables strive to have an air of inclusivity. To help facilitate that, I have many guides and aides that will help promote a welcoming and safe place. No matter your story, background, or who you are now, you will be welcomed and respected. I started playing DnD with my Boy Scout troop 12+ years ago. Since then, I have played in or run many systems and am always looking for a reason to meet new players and try new ideas. I use discord for voice and will use either roll20 or Foundry for character sheet management / maps and handouts. Cameras are optional, however a headset or earbuds with a decent microphone would be recommended. If any of this sounds fun, I hope to see you around the table.

Creating your character
We will make characters together during Session Zero, but begin to think on what kind of character you wish to be.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A discord link will be provided where there will be a group chat for your game and voice chat for game time.
What TheHatMaus brings to the table
I bring knowledge of the setting and expert adventure design to the table. I love running combat where "punch the guy" is never the only option for the turn. While I am a Rule of Cool lover, my rulings on it fall within what the system makes possible. While I am a bit silly with my voices, they will come into play when it's appropriate for the character and as a way to denote which NPC is talking. I don't do ambient music as I find it distracting while I'm running.

How TheHatMaus creates a safe table
During Session Zero, we will go over safety tools, the Monte Cook Checklist, Hardlines and Veils, tone, themes, tropes, and desired outcomes. We will also observe a 15 minute break during session, but will also entertain other breaks as needed after heavy scenes. Both in and out of session, Stars and Wishes will be accepted and improved upon. Also out of session, my discord DMs are open to any active player who needs to ask me something.
