About the adventure
The newest claimants to Arrakis have arrived to the planet - you. Build your own noble House and try to survive the intrigues of your rivals, the whims of the cruel desert, the machinations of ancient conspiracies . . . Will you manage to withstand the pressures of rule? Arrakis is an iconic and vital part of the DUNE setting and I would love to explore it in detail in this alt history campaign. Players are set loose in a sandbox that has been stripped free of canon and allowed to create their own stories in a familiar, yet alien environment.

Let's make up stupid voices and get all emotional over a fake donkey, let's turn up the battle music and feel tension as the enemy moves across the field. Let's create some badass moments. As you may have gathered, I'm a big fan of the collaborative nature of tabletop roleplaying. I believe the game runs best when I don't know what's going to happen next, you don't know what's going to happen next, and we're all just frantic with excitement about the next roll of the dice. Characters will be created during our first session along with the noble house. It's important we do all of this together in order to ensure we get shared authorship over the dynasty.

Preparing for the session
No prepwork is required for reading the rules ahead of time, but that is always appreciated! Understanding the basics of the Dune setting can also be very helpful.
