About the adventure
After seeking entrance at the Citadel of the Great Library, your group is allowed within it's walls and tasked to help with the restoration of the Firefly Cellar, an old neglected subterranean building right below the House of Rest Inn that was recently picked up as a project by a scholar- But beware, as they say horrid noises and strange sightings come from that place at night. ----- Stright from the Candlekeep Mysteries anthology, Shemshime's Bedtime Rhyme is a short adventure focused on the roleplaying side of the game and themed in mystery and slight psychologycal horror. The adventure takes place in the cellar, an encosed space, and honestly saying anything else is practically a spoiler- So if you wanna know more, don't be afraid to join! (Or be! But do it anyways!) About me
Hi! I'm Merlin, I'm a trans woman and I'm from Argentina. I have been playing TTRPGs for the last 2 years non-stop both as a player and as a Game Master. I'm trying to graduate as a Game Designer from University as i love videogames and most of all, I love the feeling of creating an experience for players to live and enjoy- That's why i love DND too!

Creating your character
FOR EVERYONE: - DND5.5e Only - Characters at Level 4 - Stat rolling allowed - Be ready to be a team! Your characters will know each other beforehand. Also, this is a roleplay focused adventure, so having a defined personality and maybe a one-line backstory for your character is prefered and welcome. - Feel free to make and use your own character sheet in any platform or by hand. IF YOU ARE A NEW PLAYER: And you don't know how to create a character sheet, don't worry, I will hand you a selection of pre-made (ready to play) characters for you to pick from. Then you give your selected character a name, a face and a personality.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a Discord account to join the server where we will do the voice call (and that i will send you the link to). To play we will be using Owlbear Rodeo VTT (Virtual TableTop), a browser-based VTT (so no need for an account nor any download). BOTH THINGS ARE FREE!!
What Edennia brings to the table
I like my NPC with voices, my map gridded and my ambience musicalized. I'm not that good managing combat so i prioritize roleplayed combat and Rule of Cool, but i know my rules, and we will have plenty of space to hit the **** out of some enemies.

How Edennia creates a safe table
Any time before the game you can reach out to me and warn me about any sensitive topic you prefer we avoid the day of the game. Right before starting the session too i will warn players about possible sensitive topics present in the story and ask directly, just in case, if you have any personal trigger you prefer to avoid. Know that you can always interrupt the game if you are feeling umcomfortable or raise your concerns about anything and i will pause the game until everything is solved. Safety goes first.
