About the adventure
Step into the world of Dragonlance! "In Search of Dragons" is a classic adventure from 2nd Edition AD&D, originally published in 1989. For reasons unknown, the balance among Krynn's good, evil, and neutral dragons is shifting. A deadly affliction is killing silver dragons, and no one has seen a bronze dragon in months. Worse, the people of Krynn seem to have lost their respect for dragons—hunting them for sport, looting their treasure hoards, and even training them for circuses and sporting events. Rumors have also began to spread with a dangerous idea: perhaps dragons are merely animals, and Krynn no longer needs them at all. This is a story of heroic fantasy where your courage, choices, and character will be tested through strong roleplay, flashy combat, strange discoveries, and memorable encounters.

About me
Greetings, I'm Cake! I'm your easy going facilitator of both in-person and online quests in D&D, Daggerheart, & Call of Cthulhu. I've been a storyteller my whole life, but about six years ago I fell in love with the TTRPG medium & I haven't looked back! The art of creating adventures and crafting stories has captivated me since my childhood & now that I've found TTRPGS, these wild ideas have been evolving into handcrafted memorable campaigns. I like to blend fantasy, horror, & humor into a a few hours of gaming where we can just sink into our characters & experience their scenes together. Shared storytelling is one of my favorite things about TTRPGs, as a DM, I set up the world & you knock it down, sometimes literally... Join me on our collective journey through thrilling escapades, where laughter, challenges, and unforeseen surprises await. Together, we'll co-create stories and forge memories to live in our hearts forever.

Homebrew rules
Death Saves are Whispered to me. After 3 Successes you regain 1 hp. Medicine Check to stabilize a downed ally: - A critical success revives their target with 1 hit point. - Rolling 15 or above stabilizes them. - Rolling 10 or above counts as a successful death saving throw. - Rolling below 10 has no effect, but a critical failure counts as a failed death saving throw. Help Action: Proficiency in the skill is necessary in order to grant advantage via the Help Action to others. Inspiration: You can bank as many Points of Inspiration as you earn, however only one can be spent on a Roll & Inspiration cannot be shared between other players. Flanking: Being 180 degrees from an ally, surrounding a creature no more than one size larger than you, you have advantage on your attacks. As a Note, this will be the same for PCs as well.

How Cake creates a safe table
We'll have a Session 0.5 where we'll go over Line & Veils & get to know each other. After that, we'll openly talk about the setting & the campaign in general. Then we'll discuss our character ideas & see if there are any Bonds that can be made between the PCs. We'll Roll for stats & then start building our characters on Roll20! We'll take a quick 10 min. break & then come back for the 2nd half where we'll jump right into the game. You'll get to play as your characters & get a feel for them in a short scenario & combat.
