About the adventure
Cosmic Horror in the Wild West. The American West of the 19th century is a land of great promise and mysterious dangers. The campaign will be a mashup of your favorite western and horror tropes. Optional Pulp Cthulhu rules will be used if the players want a combat heavier game. Players may come and go from the campaign depending on their week-to-week availability. But events in the game world will move forward regardless.

About me
Hi, I'm Michael, and I love to play RPGs. Players have told me the games I run are challenging (to the PC's), but cordial and encouraging (to the players). I welcome co-creation from everyone at the table. One of my goals as a GM is to ensure players are in alignment in their preference of playing styles. How much RP'ing, how much combat, how much problem solving, etc.? These are the issues I discuss with players prior to starting a session.

Creating your character
Customizable pregen characters are available, but players are welcome to create their own PCs.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
I will send Discord and Roll20 links. Campaign will be shaped to player preferences through a Session Zero or Discord calls prior to the first game.
What Michael brings to the table
Game will generally be Rules as Written, but Rule of Cool may sometimes be used for more cinematic or memorable moments. As a GM, my role is to react to players and to help them co-create the campaign story. I don't believe in railroading or dice fudging. Roll20 will be used, but the campaign will lean more toward theater of the mind than toward tactical play.
Homebrew rules
Depending on player preference, Pulp Cthulhu rules may be incorporated.
