About the adventure

Being a Superhero is dangerous work. Everyone knows that, everyone has felt the cost that comes with saving lives. So it wasn't a huge shock when you learned that a Peter Parker has fallen. But what was a shock was what came next. A week after his death you got a trans-dimensional message, warning you of something he was looking into, something he says could be cataclysmic might be coming. Unfortunately, this Peter was not the most trusting and the details were vague and cryptic, just referring to it as "The Shades" and telling you to talk to Harry to learn more. Can you figure out what happened and stop whatever threat is looming in the background?

About me

My beginnings started over a decade ago. I was asked by a friend to help create a Pokémon D&D campaign. It was in 4th edition, and what we made was janky, overly complicated, and an absolute mess. But I was hooked. Ever since then I have fallen in love with creating and telling stories with my friends. Whether it was creating evil and terrifying vampires for Vampire the Masquerade, exploring giant labyrinthine cave systems in Dungeons and Dragons, telling stories of interpersonal connections and choices in games like Die, or anything in between I have never not had fun when creating collaborative stories

Character creation

Creating your character

We will go over characters during the Session 0, but everyone will be playing some type of Spider, how close or far they stray from the basics will be up to the players, there's a lot of wiggle room for creativity and unique characters. Making Rank 3 Heroes, with the Heroic trait mandatory I use Demiplane for the character sheets but if you have others you prefer I'm not going to force anyone to use one specific version.

The current party

I expect everyone to be playing some version of a Spider-Man/Woman/Person

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Join my Discord I will make sure you have access to the channels you need. You will also need a Roll20 account for the maps

What Kole brings to the table

I provide fun character voices and enjoy cinematic combats. I love telling stories where my players are the focus and the choices you all make can shape the world around you. I am much more a fan of Rule of Cool, but I will push back if I think you are going too far with it.

Safety

How Kole creates a safe table

During session 0 I will send out a Lines and Veils form for people to fill out. I also let people know that they can X card at any time for any reason and we will move on no questions asked. I may reach out in dm's after the game to check in if players seemed uncomfortable. Player's fun and safety is always at the front of my mind.
