About the adventure

The Harvest Must Go On… For generations, the village has celebrated the Harvest Festival with music, food, dancing, and a night of celebration. But this year, something is different. The harvests have been getting worse. Crops are dying in the fields. Livestock have gone missing. And now, people have begun disappearing. Some villagers believe it is simply the result of bad luck. Others whisper that the village has forgotten an old god—a god that was sealed away long ago. A secretive group has begun gathering in the woods, claiming they know the truth. They say the god was imprisoned unjustly, and that only its return can restore the land to prosperity. As the Harvest Festival draws closer, you’ll have to uncover what is really happening before the final night arrives. Will you stop the ritual? Will you help complete it? Or will you discover that the truth is far more complicated than either side wants you to believe? The harvest is failing. The old god is stirring. And the festival is almost here. What will you do?

About me

I have been GMing games for a few years now, starting about a year after I played DnD for the first time. I am familiar with DnD best, and Star Wars Edge of the Empire second best. I've been GMing DnD for almost 5 years now. I am also very anti AI, so this will be true in every game I run.

Character creation

Creating your character

Please come with a character made, 4d6 drop the lowest and you may reroll your lowest stat but you must keep the new roll. All of this can be done after you've joined the server. Level 10 characters, I'm open to most things but they have to be approved by me!

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Accounts on D&D Beyond, Discord, and Roll20 will be needed for games. A Discord Server will be created for the game so access to that will be necessary through an invite!

What Cris brings to the table

I do character voices/accents, Rule of Cool is almost always my go to. I prefer to have a fun experience over an intense experience, but those sessions will still happen. If the group would like it, music will also be provided!

Homebrew rules

Drinking a potion is a bonus action, critical hits do max damage PLUS what you roll, must roll OVER AC not just meets it beats it. These are my main homebrew rules I use, if others come up I will be very clear about them!

Safety

How Cris creates a safe table

For safety and comfortability I will be going over things in a Session 0, talking over the campaign and possible triggers. X, N, and O's will be digital, sent to me privately or in the chat. If at any point you feel you need to leave, you are welcome to. You don't have to explain why, I just ask that you tell me you are leaving!
