About the adventure
Step into a dark, dangerous, and deeply immersive fantasy adventure where your choices matter, the world reacts to your actions, and every victory comes at a cost. This game is for players who want more than a string of disconnected combats: expect memorable characters, dangerous exploration, tactical encounters, and a story that gives your party plenty of room to shape how events unfold. Whether you're a longtime Pathfinder veteran or newer to the system, I'll help you get comfortable at the table and make sure there's always something exciting waiting around the corner. Now, James Jacobs. I need you to understand that I do not use the term "golden god" lightly. James Jacobs did not merely write adventures. He descended from the heavens, looked upon the barren wasteland of mediocre adventure design, and said, "Perhaps I shall cook." And cook he did. Seven Dooms for Sandpoint is the kind of adventure that makes you question whether one human being should legally be allowed to understand pacing, escalation, villains, set pieces, and adventure structure this well. And then there's The Red Hand of Doom, which is essentially what happens when someone takes the entire emotional DNA of Dragon Age: Origins, feeds it steroids, gives it a marching army, and tells you that the fate of an entire region is now your problem. It has desperate alliances, doomed settlements, larger-than-life villains, faction politics, personal stakes, military escalation, impossible choices, and that glorious feeling of being a group of deeply underqualified weirdos desperately trying to prevent civilization from being turned into a crater. If adventure writing were a pantheon, James Jacobs wouldn't be one of the gods. He'd be the guy the gods pray to. I will not be taking questions at this time. Bastion of Blasphemies is Pathfinder Second Edition's epic high level adventure for characters ready to face the greatest threats the game has to offer. This campaign is packed with cinematic encounters, challenging tactical combat, meaningful exploration, unforgettable villains, and opportunities to wield incredible power against overwhelming odds. Success will demand strategy, cooperation, and heroes willing to risk everything. The game is hosted on Foundry VTT with high quality maps, dynamic lighting, immersive music, automation, and handcrafted encounters designed to keep the focus on the adventure. Gather your allies, steel your resolve, and prepare to challenge the greatest evils of the Abyss in a campaign where legends are forged.

About me
I always loved creating fascinating stories and situations for player characters to react and solve. My promise is that sessions will be engaging, intense, and dramatic, as we experience the stories of the world and our characters unfold before our eyes. Writing this after doing over 40 sessions for SPG. I first got into DMing for DnD for family and friends, eventually branching out to online communities. While I maintain those sessions I also was curious if I could make a living out of being a DM as all of the players I DMed for showed enthusiastic support and eagerness for each and every session. Branching out to SPG I started with just a single session, and they loved it. Then when Dragonlance released I put out a few more sessions that wouldn't conflict with my work schedule and with all of their enthusiastic love, support and encouragement for me as a DM and for the stories we tell as well as their eagerness for next session "Is it (session day) yet?" I decided to try to make this silly hobby a full time job. I would not be doing this without the massive amount of support and encouragement from my players. With that, I would like to invite you to join our community. I have been making stories with systems similar to DnD since I was in Highschool. When I started playing DnD and eventually gained the confidence to become a DM in every game I was in my players kept asking me to extend the session length, even upwards of lasting the whole day. Then when I learned people have made a living doing this I decided to reach out to StartPlayGames and see what I can add to this community!

What Count Camerox brings to the table
My goal is to create a game where every player feels like their character matters. Whether you're here for tactical combat, roleplaying memorable characters, or uncovering the world's mysteries, you'll have opportunities to make meaningful choices that shape the story. You can expect high-quality maps, immersive ambient music, dynamic lighting, custom tokens, and extensive automation through Foundry VTT to keep combat fast and engaging. I give every important NPC a distinct personality and voice, making allies and villains alike feel memorable. Combat is tactical, challenging, and rewarding. Enemies fight intelligently, terrain matters, and teamwork is often the difference between victory and defeat. Success comes from planning, communication, and adapting to the battlefield, not simply rolling high. I primarily run Pathfinder Second Edition as Rules as Written, but I also believe the rules exist to create exciting stories. If a creative idea fits the situation and makes for a memorable moment, I'm always happy to reward clever thinking. My goal isn't to beat the players. It's to present meaningful challenges, celebrate heroic moments, and create an adventure you'll remember long after the campaign ends. Whether you're a Pathfinder veteran or completely new to the system, you'll find a welcoming table where questions are encouraged, teamwork is valued, and everyone has a chance to shine.

Safety
How Count Camerox creates a safe table
top priorities. Before the campaign begins, we'll have a dedicated Session 0 to discuss expectations, character creation, table etiquette, themes, and boundaries. Every player will receive a Lines and Veils document to complete before play so we can establish everyone's comfort levels and avoid unwanted content. There shouldn't be any disturbing content in this campaign that should warrant any pauses but in the event anyone crosses a line and we need to pause or change directions, we'll do so without requiring an explanation. Player comfort always takes priority over the game. After each session, I like to spend a few minutes checking in with the group. We'll talk about favorite moments, anything that could be improved, and whether anyone has concerns they'd like to discuss. Players are also welcome to contact me privately between sessions if something comes up or if they'd like to provide feedback.
