About the adventure
In this incredibly immersive, hauntingly beautiful game you will embody the character of someone close to 16-year old Alice Briarwood, who went missing just before winter break. You will join others to discover her fate, and along the way secrets and surprising clues will be revealed. Join us for a re-imagining of Alice's story, with new locations, new suspects, and new prompts for the end of the game--which means new conclusions to the story. Players who are new to Alice is Missing are very welcome; the game is easy to teach and no prior knowledge is required to play.

About me
The first time I walked into a game store in 1992 and learned to play D&D, I was immediately hooked. Not on the game--that came later--but on the energy of the place, on the shared community, and on those beautiful, clicky-clacky dice! TTRPGs quickly became my favorite form of entertainment, and within a couple of years I was running games of my own. I continued running them through college, marriage, and the start of my family, but after my second child was born we moved away and I hung up my GM hat until 2020. I later discovered 5th edition online, and it re-ignited my passion for the hobby. This version of D&D is closer to the way I like to play than any other, so I started DMing again in 2021. I jumped on board with SPG in 2023, and I love having this chance to connect with new players, start new games, and tell new stories together!

How Krystal creates a safe table
After a period of explanation and collaborative character development and worldbuilding, the players will unfold the story together during a limited period of silent texting. Players must be comfortable using a computer and have the ability to follow cues. This game is rated: R It's listed as 18+ due to heavy themes. There is no descriptive sexual content in this game. - Content warnings are not predictive of all sensitive topics that may arise. Safety tools are in place to help make sure everyone is comfortable. My top priority is providing all players with a fun experience at the table. - Specific safety tool details will be provided upon registration and covered at the beginning of the session. NOTE: You may have heard that Alice is Missing is a texting game. It is, but you will not need to share your phone number. We have a VTT for that instead; entirely online, nothing to download. No personal information will be shared.
