About the adventure

The Greenwood Tourney is a homebrew adventure made for players that are interested in a mix of combat and roleplay where they will engage with friends and foes on their way to a jousting tournament to earn gold and acclaim. ======== Setting The setting of the campaign is set within the Kingdom of the Greenwood, where the reigning King Vitalis is celebrating the anniversary of his conquest of the lands of the former Ryte Kings. The party; to whom were former knights of Ryte, are hoping to reclaim the loss of physical, social, or political standing by winning the king's tournament. ======== Mechanics The game will utilize the standard D&D 5e rules as set out by 2014. Jousting mechanics will be done through a mix of horsemanship and lance combat. ======== Extras Inspired by tales from both Arthurian myth and the A Song of Ice and Fire book series, players should expect a rich narrative involving intrigue and relationships that the players will be pulled into. Additionally, every campaign or one-shot played is a part of the same central homebrew setting, interact with characters, nations, and past actions of others whilst paving your own mark on the world to come.

About me

Hello! My name is Luke and I have been a dungeon master for about nine years now with experience in multiple platforms and games including: - Dungeons and Dragons 5e - Call of Cthulhu - Mutants and Masterminds - A Song of Ice and Fire RPG - Pathfinder 2e I originally begun playing when friends invited me to their game after school, with since then my passion for the game has carried me to meet many new people and travel to multiple in person events. Since as far as I can remember, I have always prioritized the stories players write for themselves just as much as the scenarios I place them inside of. With flexible and reasonable availability, I always am willing to add work from players to the games. My official attitude is that this is our collective campaign, with all of us to feel a part of it. With that all in mind, I am a roleplay focused dungeon master but do have combat and puzzles throughout my games oftentimes. For me, the most important thing for these kind of game has always been community; whether it be with old players returning or new players just beginning, I am always excited to see people assembling to roll some dice and make some memories!
