About the adventure
This is an Intro to the Neon Odysessy system, made by Legends of Avantris, and is meant to test out their test kit. Players who have only played a little bit, or thousands of hours are more then welcome to join and experience the new system, classes, races, equipment and much more. I will advise that people who have NOT played D&D before might be a bit overwhelmed by the amount of options, however, if you want to give it a go do not let that discourage you.

About me
I'm Lydia, I'm a transwoman and primarily a filmmaker! I have a lot of love and interest in storytelling and performing, which led me to playing Dungeons and Dragons and other TTRPGs. I've been an avid player for about 3 years now, playing in 2 full campaigns and currently running 1 campaign with my partner and friends, alongside the occasional one-shot. I got the idea to join StartPlaying as people kept reccomending me to their friends who wanted to play DnD and I wanted to open that up to more people! Creating your character
For this first adventure I will be providing characters, given the limited access to the books. However, I am more than happy to share some public resources and hear from each player about what they're interested in trying. I highly reccomend looking at the videos detailing races and classes on Legends of Avantris Youtube channel.

Preparing for the session
Discord will be all we will need for this session, an account and possibly an email address for sharing information should be more than enough!
What Lua Barras brings to the table
I want to test out a bunch of the stuff in this system, but for the scope of this one-shot I will keep it as a segment where roleplay, skill checks and combat are all included, as to give everyone a chance to really test the system. I will most likely have ambient music, and often do different character voices/personalities as well as stick to the Rule of Cool.

How Lua Barras creates a safe table
We will discuss before starting any boundries and go over a safety checklist. During the session, if anyone is made uncomfortable, anxious or upset, we will pause and discuss a path forward. Finally, after the session is done I will check in with each player and make sure you were satisfied by the experience!
