With several amazing locations and room for any approach, the characters are the central focus as they investigate and uncover the secrets of the cult in the sewer. As members of the Wyvern’s Wing Adventuring Guild, based in the port city of Naso, you can explore a vibrant city and pull on the support of the other guild members in this urban adventure. Chasing the cult of Anansi, the Lady of Spiders and Secrets, the self-proclaimed goddess of the underworld, there are sure to be secrets revealed. You will love this campaign if... - You love roleplay, espionage, and character-driven stories - You love interesting themes, overcoming something huge, and saving the world (even if they don't know!) - You enjoy the idea of running around a city, solving mysteries, and maybe a tinyyyy dungeon crawl The Table I'll Run: I'm a storyteller who runs atmospheric, character-driven games with a real sense of place. The world will feel alive and the enemies a LOT menacing, but the table itself is warm, welcoming, and safe. I always use a Session 0, open communication, and consent tools, so the any danger stays on the characters, not the players. I am great at teaching newbies the ropes, and run an interesting enough table to entertain veterans! If you have ANY questions, shoot me a message! Mini-Campaign Triggers (Unchangable): Spiders, Secrets coming to light, Cults, some light manipulation from the BBEG. There may be additional triggers depending on the secrets that arise. Do note, I will go over the RPG consent form and let people know what topics can/cannot be included in character backstories, and what topics will need to fade into the back.

About me
A lover of storytelling and writing, Zari's life goal is to inspire people through her words, providing a safe space and drawing together a community of like-minded people. She discovered Dungeons and Dragons in late 2017 and dove in headfirst, immediately sliding into the Dungeon Master seat. Her approach has always been centered around the story and characters, immediately building immersive worlds and dynamic stories for the players to seamlessly integrate. Creating your character
I will be hosting a free session 0 and am willing to chat about characters prior! For beginner players, I can help with ALL of this information listed below. All DnD 2014/2024 content (minus some spell discrepancies) and most added modules are welcome! Level 3 Roll for Stats (in the discord server!) or use point buy You can roll for HP or take average, but you have to stick with it the whole way (in discord server) I prefer the characters are created in DND Beyond or Roll20! Do NOT buy anything for this, I have quite a bit purchased and can homebrew/fake the rest :D I have a pantheon to choose from, as this is a homebrew world You are welcome to select any backgrounds and we can adapt as needed! I'm open on these. Select a 5.5e background (which includes a feat) or choose a 5e background (no feat) & a level 1 feat of your choice. More info on starting gold, equipment, and magic items will be posted in the discord!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Note: if you are a beginner at any of this tech, all of this will be covered in the Session 0 and as we play You will need to sign up for a FREE Roll20 account If you would like to use DnD Beyond (you can do a free account), you can use the Beyond20 Extension to auto-roll to Roll20 This will be run in a Discord Server, so you will need a discord account, and a steady way to voice chat. Cameras are optional and only used if all people agree to the rules.
What Zari brings to the table
I use maps for combat and exploration in this campaign, with some theater of the mind (no maps) moments. I personally always love music and ambient sound in Roll20! You are welcome to mute it. There is some combat, some espionage, and lots of character moments. I am a Rule of Cool DM, but am pretty knowledgeable about the rules and like to keep things fair.
Homebrew rules
- Drinking potions is a bonus action or if you use an action, it's max HP - Flanking rules (I can explain this!)

How Zari creates a safe table
I send a form with the table rules, a poll for what the players want/like in a campaign, and the RPG consent form (Red, Yellow, Green stoplight). We will be going over this in session 0. I am an open communicator, and will have a open direct messages for any no questions asked pauses, stops, etc. After session, I stay for a bit for people to chat and wind down, and am open to meet off session for any questions, concerns, or communication. I also send session wrap ups (optional, no requirement) to give players a chance to reflect and communicate any issues.
