About the adventure

The Stolen Lands are in a perpetual state of strife, from the native creatures to abberation, from lowly bandits to something a little more strange. Your quest leads you into these lands with promise of fame, power and wealth. What would you do to further your ambitions, what lengths would you go to and how far could you climb? Only you and your adventuring group can answer that. 0️⃣ First Session FREE. 🗺️ Set in the The Stolen Lands, to the South West of Brevoy. 🎓 From level 2 to 20. This is a full campaign, so it will take a while to finish. 🆕 New players are welcome, I do not mind teaching Pathfinder 2nd Edition. If you've played D&D 5th Edition you'll already have a good baseline.

About me

My name is ZeraBrit, I'm in my early 40s, and I have been playing TTRPGs for as long as I can remember. As a kid I was introduced to D&D, but I was too young then to really grasp it. Years later I started playing with a group, D&D 4E was the system of a choice, and while it was a bit "gamey", the roleplay was the best part and got me hooked, even despite my undiagnosed autism at the time(Diagnosed in my 30s). Fast forward to playing a variety of systems, from Dark Heresy and Eclipse Phase to D&D 5E. 5E was what I had the most experience with until I was persuaded to try out Pathfinder 2E in recent years and I have never looked back. I have DM'd for D&D 5E in the past and now I only DM Pathfinder 2E as it hooked me completely and it didn't hurt with all the awkwardness with Wizards of the Coast. I like to tailor my DM'ing to whatever the group needs on a person by person basis. I would love to do more roleplay, but I understand that not everyone in a group is comfortable with it. I have the most experience with running combat heavy campaigns, with tactical NPCs when it is demanded. Though I would really prefer to do a balance between roleplay and combat, and I absolutely adore puzzles and mystery and working with players to come up with something unique for their characters. Often creating personalized items and gifting their characters new abilities/items for their players real life birthdays. If you resonate with this then I would love to DM for you!

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Discord I host my Foundry games on The Forge: http://forge-vtt.com Discord invite link and Forge game invite links will be provided once you've been accepted into the game. 🔨 You may prebuild your character on Pathbuilder before the session 0 with the Character creation information. Pathbuilder is usually a safe way to build a character which we will then transfer to my FoundryVTT game. 0️⃣ There will be a Session 0, where we finalize characters into the world and setup any party dynamics the group may have or want to explore. This will also give me a chance to potentially work in any hooks for characters and build custom items/feats for them in the future.

What ZeraBrit brings to the table

🗣️ Voices are welcome but not a necessity. I like to try and voice the NPCs I am controlling, to better show the difference between character and DM talking. 🎵 Ambient music is provided in the campaign I use, which I try my hardest to remember to change between scenes cause I'm a derp at times. 🖼️ All NPCs have token and character art provided for them and battle maps will be used. Narrative descriptions will also be provided for any areas I do not have covered for art. ⚔️ I am very used to combat in TTRPGs, so I try to make things a interesting and play NPCs tactically if it is required by them. Animals will act as animals, but may run a pack mentality. Intelligent enemies may plan ahead. 👓I am a very Rules as Written kind of DM as it maintains balance for players and DM alike. However, I also run Rule of Cool as is can be fun to do something special every now and then, so long as it's not EVERY time.

Homebrew rules

⭐ Hero Points reset to max at the start of each session, plus other general uses of Hero Points and some specific to each character. We can also decide on using a variant bonus to Hero Points or not, with the below options: - Do you gain a +10 bonus if your dice face value is 10 or below. - Do you get a 10 if you roll a 10 or below on the dice face value. - Do you keep the highest result on a Hero Point reroll. 🐾 I have made the Exploration ever so slightly easier, if the party has lowest speed of 25ft then you get two hexploration activities a day. 35ft gives you 3 Hexploration activities per day, the easiest way to get this level is through horses.

Safety

How ZeraBrit creates a safe table

⚠️ This campaign can have some darker tones to it, safety is a concern for me, but please expect there to be some potentially uncomfortable topics. I have a checklist of topics I will not cover in any content however.(SA being the main one) ☠️ There are some potential moments of hostage situations, slavery, trauma, manipulation, mutilation and certain levels of physical or mental torture. Though they are not the main focus of the campaign, I will not go overly into detail about the above depending on the group, but there will be descriptions of them. 🟢 That being said, I will always advocate for player and DM care, there will be discussions before session 0 to talk about any concerns you may have. If anything comes up in the campaign that may be triggering, the Luxton Technique will be used to take a break, talk about it and come to a compromise/consensus. 💬 I have a dedicated safety channel for each group I run in my discord for players to discuss with me freely about the campaign and any Stars of Wishes they may have. This channel will also be there for Aftercare and Debriefing. You may also privately message me with any concerns. 🚪 Since this could be seen as a darker story in areas, there will be an Open Door policy where a player may take a break from the game if it is getting too heavy for them. 🧑‍⚖️ Lastly, there will be zero judgment for any concerns a player may have, you are entitled to your opinion and triggers and will not be judged at all for it, I run a safe space for all. ⛓️‍💥 Okay, NOW lastly, there will be a 5-10 minute break, roughly at the midpoint of every session. 🩹 There is one thing I take very seriously though and that is phobias. I am totally ok with changing up creatures and things to avert any phobias. Easiest example is changing spiders to other insects or creatures to not trigger players.
