About the adventure
This is a cozy, low-stakes game that may or may not feature some non-lethal sword fights, queer flirting and self-discovery, and the messy dynamics inherent in Thirsty Sword Lesbians. This is intended as an intro to the system for beginners, but more experienced players should enjoy it as well! Lesbeans Coffee is the nexus between two worlds. Although at first glance it's an unassuming coffee shop based in a historic neighborhood, in the back room is a portal to the Foxhole Woods, a magic land ruled by the benevolent Queen Eustace.

About me
I started playing D&D 5e back in 2017 through Adventurer's League, and shortly after tried my hand at DMing. I've run mostly non-AL campaigns since 2019, and transitioned to using Roll20 (for tokens/maps) and Discord (for voice and video chat) in March 2020, for obvious reasons. I first played Thirsty Sword Lesbians in 2025 as part of a one-shot run by the author herself, and fell in love with it as a system. I'm also familiar with several other TTRPG systems, such as Pendragon, Gamma Worlds, Cypher, Trophy Dark, Call of Cthulhu, Delta Green, and FATE/FATE Accelerated. I've been writing as a hobby since childhood, so I excel at coming up with interesting plots and strange worlds. I studied performing as part of my undergraduate degree in singing, so I'm good at improv and confident in acting out NPCs. I love it when my players come up with cool ideas, talking out character and plot ideas is one of my favorite parts of collaborative storytelling! I have a bratty orange tabby cat named Buttercup who often jumps up on my desk during games, and I will always turn my camera on so my players can see her. I guarantee at least one kitty cameo per session. ;) I will never knowingly use generative AI and don't allow players to use it in my games either.

Creating your character
Choose the top 3 Playbooks that sound interesting to you from the Core Playbooks ( https://evilhat.com/product/thirsty-sword-lesbians/ ). Each Playbook can only be used by one player, so if multiple people want the same one, we will roll dice. We will go over the specifics of how to create the characters during the first hour of the session.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have both Discord and Roll20 accounts, as well as a microphone for voice chat. I will send invite links to both my GM Discord and the game on Roll20. We will create characters together once the session starts, as well as going over Lines and Veils.
What Chelsea | Parched Dragon Gaming brings to the table
My focus is on storytelling and roleplay, and I'm quite good at improvising when something unexpected happens. I guarantee that even if things don't go as planned, you'll still have fun and enjoy the session!

How Chelsea | Parched Dragon Gaming creates a safe table
Part of game setup will be going over Lines and Veils, and we will have breaks and use the Player Safety Tools provided by Evil Hat (X card, pause, resume, rewind, etc). We'll also go over Stars and Wishes afterward as well.
