About the adventure
Your life was a really quiet one. Maybe you were training to be a guard, studying the arcanas, or praying to a god. But one day you went to the local church, and the priest -you know since childhood- had a weird look in his eyes. Your village started to feel off. Like a curse gaining power... Then the priest sent you a letter... "Dear, I need your help. My helper is missing, the little child of the Wrongwind family. She was talking about death and what it's waiting for us in the afterlife, and I get worried. Please meet me at the church tonight." Or perhaps you are an adventurer... One who heard about the Mist, about a Realm beyond the shadows controlled by a Vampire Lord, a merciless Black Knight or a creature that sleeps in the deepest waters... Your curiosity made you travel and you found out yourself in this odd village, surrounded by a thick fog of fear... And there's a manor, old and left behind; it's calling for you. You can read a plate on the door: "House Wrongwind". That is the beginning of "Realms of Terror" an Original Campaign inspired by "Ravenloft: The Horrors Within". Bring a backstory and be ready to travel through Ravenloft, revealing the darkest secrets not only from the Mist and monsters but from the Dark Lord & Dark Powers... This game is going to have Mystery, a lot of Roleplay, Puzzles and encounters against creatures and forces beyond your comprehension... About me
I'm Facundo. I'm 22 years old; I'm from Argentina, and I'm crazy for D&D. I love acting and making stories; D&D arrived in my life to be a safe place where I merged both things and cover it up with my love for videogames and tabletop games 👻 My tables are for people who want to feel like they are in a theater show where improv makes the story go to places we never thought about. My final goal is to hear one of my players say "yeah we play OUR Curse of Strahd". My style is more related to telling you a story where I know the start and the end but not the middle; that's full in your hands. I adapt and merge the NPCs, the items, and all the ideas I have to try to make the perfect story with you^^ -Sometimes with a lot, A LOT, of cosmic horror, unknown dark magic, and the presence of a BBEG behind your neck... From time to time, I design something or add an obscure rule/mechanic from an old book. Two examples. 1. I designed "The Wrestler" as a new class for D&D and for the beta testing, I made a whole WWE-Style campaign 💖 2. I'm working to apply the piety system from "Theros" for my "Dungeon of the Mad Mage" game since one of my players is worshiping Loth. I love to put so much work into each of my games. I don't do drawings for all my NPCs, but I try. For Original Campaigns, I do original maps with programs like Canvas of Kings or Dungeon Alchemist; sometimes even in official modules. I try to give every game a unique twist. Being a Dungeon Master is my favourite thing to do! I can add that I love movies; I'm always looking to give a cinematic feeling to any of my games. I love Baldur's Gate 3 so I play a lot of the soundtrack in my games. And I don't know - send me a message for more!!

Creating your character
If you are new to D&D: I will help you with the character creation or give you an already-made character!! We are going to start the character creation by texting and follow it with a Session 0 so you can bring a lot of possible ideas! You can make your character sheet on any platform of your preference and send it to me so I can upload it to Fantasy Grounds. Start Level - 2 Available sources - PHB 2024, Heroes of Faerun, Ravenloft: The Horrors Within, Arcana Unleashed.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You need to make an account in Fantasy Grounds and download the Fantasy Grounds VTT (when the installer asks for a key, just press continue). You will need a Discord account and need to join my server too. Both accounts are free; you don't need to buy any Fantasy Grounds book!
What Facundo brings to the table
I try (awful) character voices; sometimes I start repeating, but I try my best to give every NPC a good and unique personality! I play some ambient music! I'm trying to implement sounds too. I like difficult combat with a bit of roleplaying. I'm not tactical and don't pay so much attention to cover and stuff like that, but if you do, you will get inspiration! I love to drop lore and put your backstories into play (especially in this game). Love when players try crazy plans or very cool attacks. Lately, I'm more into Rule of Cool than ever. I will provide all available D&D 5.5e books through Fantasy Grounds VTT.
Homebrew rules
I have a few homebrew rules, and we'll talk about them in session 0!! Besides that, the usual ones: drinking a healing potion as a bonus action, etc.

How Facundo creates a safe table
I will send you to complete the Game Expectation Sheet form DMG 2024 to get to know your triggers, phobias, and expectations at the time of playing. We are going to do a Session 0 where we can all present ourselves to everybody; be ready to say bye-bye to shyness. At the end of every session, I set the tone and a hook for the next session and invite you to talk for a few minutes about the things you enjoyed and the ones you don't. I'm open to the critics! We're here to play and be happy!
