About the adventure
The country town of Clarksville seemed like the furthest place from adventure in the Stardust Rhapsody for you. This little community in the middle of nowhere has been crushed under the thumb of megacorporations to milk it dry with tourism and excessive consumerism. You have felt trapped here, looking to the stars and wishing for escape. One night, the stars answer. Fate will take a twist to get you involved in a conflict with several factions, including the very cosmology of the galaxy itself! Will you find yourself among the stars and restore harmony, or will war make you and everyone with you fall into the void? Your choices and the dice will decide as you perform your notes in the Stardust Rhapsody!

About me
I'm just your average 30-something guy living out in the sticks of the Black Hills with a love of stories and adventure. Whether you're looking to use new rules for your D&D games, learning to play tabletop RPGs, or just looking for a late-night one-shot, my services are open to run your sessions and roll some dice with friends and strangers alike! Ever since a friend let me read a 3rd Edition Monster Manual at summer camp, I've been captivated by D&D lore. I decided to share this passion by starting my own games, gathering friends and family to play with starter kits. Over time, I've explored settings like the Mists of Ravenloft and the Islands of Kozakura, learning from the characters and stories they presented. After years of experience, I am now here to help you bring your tale to life! I am curious about what you will bring to the table, and I will be more than happy to guide you into the world of TTRPGs! I offer a variety of discounts to players who purchase my services. These include "Half-Off Holidays", "BOGOHO Buddies", and "DnDate Nights". Check with me to qualify. Now offering FREE first sessions! If you are in the Northern Black Hills area, I am also offering in-person sessions to reserve. I can be hired for one-shots, parties, or just a simple gathering of friends to roll dice and tell stories. Just tell me the place and time, and I'll see if I can arrange my schedule to make a good game night!

Creating your character
Here are some guidelines for character creation: - You can use the character creator feature to simplify building your adventurer or start from scratch. - Stats will be determined by the standard array or rolling 4d6 and dropping the lowest die. - For newer players, I will assist in any way I can in character building and understanding mechanics. - You can use the rules provided in the Roll20 compendium. However, you can inquire about using other references that can be edited into your sheet as well. - If you want to jump in without all the complicated steps of making a character, Roll20 provides several premade ones you can select to start playing! I may also provide additional ones when necessary.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need: - A working microphone. - A Discord account for the server. - A Roll20 account to access the table. Optional: - Beyond20 extension to use D&D Beyond sheets. - 5e/5.5e Basic or Core Rules - Any other content you want to bring to the table.
What Curtis brings to the table
I will bring the Neon Odyssey playtest PDF and Roll20 Compendium access to both the 5e and 5.5e rules more easily.
Homebrew rules
Magic Items can be reimagined as "Hyper Tech" to fit with the scifi aesthetic. Thanks to the realm of Arcadia, the fantasy based options for 5/5.5e can also be used with the flavor that the characters come from there. Since the playtest doesn't have specific backgrounds, ones from the basic and core rules are available to pick. Custom suggestions are also in the playtest.

How Curtis creates a safe table
I will provide a document for any table rules that must be covered. This is an open-door campaign, so players can come and go as required. Please inform me in advance if you won't attend a session or need to leave early. I also have the table open for stars and wishes for comments on what works and what needs to be improved for future sessions. I'm always looking for ways to make sure my players are enjoying their time at the table. Players who disrespect these rules receive two warnings, after which the offender will be removed.
