About the adventure
Welcome to Quickstone, stranger. This small mining town lies right in the middle of the "civilized" nation of Breland and the "monstrous" lands of Droaam, in a region known as The Western Frontier. It's a barren land, hot and arid, where Empires have fallen and might makes right. A land full of risk, and if you are lucky, perhaps big reward. This campaign is western-themed but still a fantasy campaign. The land is barren and the people wear hats, but there is no gunpowder; duels are made with wands, criminals can be human or minotaur, cultists are as common as wanted fugitives. The campaign takes place in the world of Eberron. You don't need to know the setting to participate, as I will provide a primer if needed. It specifically uses the book Frontiers of Eberron: Quickstone as its setting, but players don't need to acquire the book to play. It will not follow the adventure contained in the book, but a unique story crafted around your characters.

About me
I'm a writer and film-critic from Argentina, currently residing in Italy. I've been a GM for 20 years, running campaigns for D&D, Savage Worlds, and World of Darkness (we all have an edgy phase). My main love is for the Eberron campaign setting, where I run most of my campaigns. I love the fun, camaraderie, and creative collaboration of TTRPGs. More of a Brian Murphy than a Matt Mercer, if you will.

What Andres Cappiello brings to the table
I use art for most locations and professional battlemats for combats. I use ambient music. I run few but large tactical combats, much like the style of Dimension 20, instead of many irrelevant small encounters. I generally go for Rule of Cool, unless the precedent generated is too problematic for future encounters. I love creating interesting and fun NPCs, and I'm a seasoned improviser, but I don't do voices or accents well at all.
Homebrew rules
- Drinking a potion is a bonus action (self-only) - For Tieflings, we will use a variant adapted to the setting. - We will discuss some possible variant rules for Character Death during Session 0 using this method: I will present 1 or more variants. If the entire group chooses one, we use it; if not, we go Rules As Written. -
