About me
Hey, I'm Chris, the Bard of the North. By day I'm a designer and a carer coach - by night I'm behind the DM screen. I've been playing D&D for going on 25 years, both in person and online, and running games for most of that time. Over the years, my homebrew world has been the setting for countless adventurers, each with their own rich history that's been woven into the world itself. Your character's choices won't just move the story forward. They'll contribute to the world you're playing in. I run D&D 5e (and I've run Fate, Pathfinder and SWN) for both one-shots and ongoing campaigns. New to the game? You're in great hands. I love introducing people to D&D, and my Intro to D&D one-shot is built to get first-timers rolling dice and having fun in minutes, no rulebook homework required. My background in design and coaching shows up at the table. I pay attention to what each player is looking for, whether that's combat, roleplay, puzzles, or just a good laugh, and I make sure everyone gets their moment in the spotlight. I play online and in person around Durham Region and the GTA, and I'm happy to run private games for your friend group, family, or crew. At the end of the day, I love having a group of people come together and tell a story. That's why I play. Come tell one with me.
