About the adventure
THIS IS A PROLOGUE TO ECHOES OF THE FALLEN Whispers and spectres have been spreading throughout the land of Aevara, and there seems to be a convergence of energy from a crystaline cave. You have found yourself drawn to this convergence, and the decision to recover or destroy whatever is creating these echoes lies with you. How will history remember your choice? This one-shot will take place 50 years before the beginning of Echoes of the Fallen and will significantly impact the story. Characters will be level 10. If you're looking for a welcoming table/DM, a character driven story, custom maps, and in-depth storytelling, then Echoes of the Fallen: Call of Aevara needs you as a player! All levels of experience are welcome in players! Just come to the table prepared to play, and never be afraid to ask questions. Roleplay is encouraged, NPC's will be unique, and battle will be memorable. Join Echoes of the Fallen: Call of Aevara and decide whether the past is left forgotten, or if it holds the power to change the present.

About me
Welcome to my page, long-time and new gamers alike! I have been a DM for Dungeons and Dragons for about 10 years! I currently run 3 campaigns with friends on a live monthly meetup, and we will be streaming one very soon! I am a professional Game Master and founder of Tyton Studios. I have been published for poetry, and I am in the process of publishing my novels. I specialize in cinematic, story-driven campaigns with strong character arcs and dramatic world events. I'm all about player experience and creating custom stories that leave a lasting impact. Everyone's character arc will continue to grow and evolve, as the story you're telling doesn't end just because you got through a major plot point. All of my content is 100% original, so you will be getting a story tailored for you and your party members every time. I love to interact with the players as the NPCs, the big bads, and everything in between, as seeing the players of my game immerse themselves in the story is one of the greatest parts of being a DM. We follow the standard 5e rules, with homebrew allowed as long as it is brought to me and approved. I am always open to feedback, as I am constantly looking to grow as a DM for the players' sake and for my own as a storyteller. I have also created my own TTRPG that will be play-testing very soon, and if that goes well, I will be publishing my ruleset and looking to get on Kickstarter. I look forward to meeting players, their characters, and I can't wait to begin their journeys with them!

What to expect
Preparing for the session
Characters will be level 10. All standard material is allowed, if there is anything homebrew, it will need to be run past the DM (myself) for approval. You will also be allowed 2 magical items. 1 rare, 1 uncommon. Characters will also start with 1500 gold pieces that can be spent on common items found in shops, such as better armour or +1 weapons. Final builds will need to be sent to the DM for approval. We will use a discord server to communicate during the session, and the game will be played on Roll20. I look forward to running this one-shot for all of you!
What Roderick || Tyton Studios brings to the table
I will provide ambient/battle music and voices for NPC's. Combat will be tactical, difficult, and fun/rewarding! Choices will matter, and character arcs will not come to a definite end. The Rule of Cool will almost always win out! I will support my players to the best of my abilities. Any issues can be spoken about in private with the DM (myself).
Homebrew rules
- Death save results are not made known to the party when rolled, and a death save must be rolled immediately upon falling to/below 0 hp. - Crits will give the player the choice of doubling the initial damage rolled, or rolling again and adding the second dice
